We had always eaten here at dinnertime, but decided to try lunch. We had the soup and salad combo ($5.99). Their chicken wild rice soup is an old favorite. It is tasty and full of stuff - a meal instead of a soup. Honey BBQ dressing replaces the ubiquitous honey mustard and is just as good. Lunch portions are smaller... More

You have to try this place if you like ribs. We had the family platter which gave you brisket, ribs, pulled pork, corn, French fries and corn muffins - EVERYTHING was simply delicious and the ribs just fall off the bone with moisture. There is a variety of sauces at the table that you can try or mix and match.... More

I took my father here after buying a 'Groupon'. I had heard that it was pretty good from a few people. We got the Deluxe Nachos (with brisket) as an appetizer. I got the Texas Brisket as my entree while my father got the pork sandwich. For starters the place was pretty dead because it was only 1:00pm. There may... More

One on the tell tale signs of wether or not I've had a good meal are what effect it has on my digestive system the following day. From 0-10 with zero being no effect and 10 being the likes of a tornado in my tummy, famous Dave's gave me a 4, some reflux indigestion. I must add the ribs were... More

We ordered food "to go" -- it was available on time, and very tasty. Restaurant seem relatively busy, so others must agree it is good.

Much better on the inside than the outside would suggest. Great relaxed atmosphere and really friendly staff. Menu choices were good for this class of restaurant and you really do need staff to explain all the sauces, as well as provide tasters! Service was efficient and the quality was really good, be warned quantities can be large! Just found Famous... More

Chewy ribs and no concern by management at all about quality anymore and only about profit. Tried to contact them many times thru corporate and they just don't care. Be a serious crime down south. I wonder how much business they have already lost. There sauces are good and ribs used to be so tender, but they since shortened the... More

Close to the hampton inn is the reason we chose this place. The food was outstanding. We arrived early and enjoyed the happy hour pricing. The choice of bbq sauces are plenty from mild to almost hot. The rib ends come with a house sauce that is hotter and better than the normal selections. The staff was outstanding. I highly... More

A roadhouse style bbq joint. I had a full rack of ribs with jalapeno mac and cheese and green beans, with a corn muffin. Ribs had a nice distinct smokey flavour. They were not fall off the bone ribs but the flavour was good. Dinner for two with a drink each, 54 bucks including tip, hard to beat.
