Parking was tight so bring a smaller car if you can. The homes across from the parking lot are a bit scary, like very run down, doors and windows wide open to the outdoors, people hanging around etc. But once inside its like being in little Italy. The food was great, the service was also very good. Will be back.

Although I am not really a huge fan of Italian food, we went here to celebrate an occasion with my daughter and son-in-law and everything was top rate from service to food to ambiance.

Went here with friends and family for lunch. Service was friendly and attentive. I liked that they treated the kids properly and allowed us to split lunches for them. Lasagna is as good as the hype! Also, the mozzarella salad was very well done

Was there 08/2014 This place is really an old school neighborhood style restaurant that's popular with the locals as well as tourists. The decor is awesome and is a taste of NYC in Buffalo. The location is nice if you're in the downtown area. If you're out towards Niagara Falls or Amherst it's a good 30 minute drive as the... More

My husband and I were in town visiting friends and family, and on the recommendation of my sister, came here with childhood friends. Apparently this place has been around for years but none of us had ever eaten here. Our tastes run to homemade fresh food, and this place does an excellent job of making you think you are eating... Been here a few times in past, food still very good and plentiful. The lighting is refreshingly brighter than the first time we were here, and there was a active bar. We celebrated my moms 88th and there were 4 couples present. The lasagna of my wifes was delicious, my spaghetti Bolognese also good. The waitress made this dinner unforgettable,... More

Delicious food. The lasagna is to die for. A great hidden restaurant that you would never 'stumble' upon, all word of mouth yet always busy.

We showed up at 6PM on a Sunday evening, and the place was already crowded. We had about a half hour wait, and then the service was somewhat slow. Food was a large portion but just satisfactory taste. Nothing really wrong here, but not something to go out of the way for.

I have been going to this restaurant for special occassions with my girlfriends for the last 5 years, I went with my husband for our 20th Anniversary last week, and I could not believe the change in the portion size of the menu, what happened??? I order the same thing every time I am there the Scallops Amore, usually it... More
