This is our 3rd year dining in Flagstaff during a cross-country road trip, and while each restaurant has been great, Brix is by far the best. The atmosphere is sophisticated and cozy with a variety of small rooms, exposed brick, modern lighting, etc. Our waiter, David, was exceptional-- very knowledgeable, engaging, and totally attentive despite being quite busy. He even... More

I was in town for a comedy show and wanted to eat before going. I noticed that Brix had a charcuterie board and small plates and had good reviews. I made reservations through OpenTable. When I arrived the host could not find my reservations and gave the excuse that their internet access is "slow". The night was saved however when... More

Brix was a modest disappointment. The restaurant is difficult to locate because of its off-the-street location; more like an alley than a street front. The pumpkin soup was excellent as was the mushroom ravioli. However the cavatelli was so spicy as to overwhelm the other flavors; a most disappointing dish. The falafel provided as a side dish was also disappointing.... More

We decided to go to Brix because it had been recommended by folks at Fat Olives the previous evening. What a good choice. We sat at the copper covered, curved bar. It was roomy and comfortable. The bartender was wonderful: friendly, with good suggestions, letting us taste a gin we didn't know and a wine before pouring it, and happy... More

Just finished dinning at Brix restraint in Flagstaff, Az, and I have to say that this was one of the best dinning experiences ever! Excellent in every way. Besides the quality of the steak and chicken, the presentation was perfect. The tomato bisque was the best I have ever had, period. Keep up the good work. Hats off to Chef... More

I searched out Tripadvisor for locations to dine since we were out of town and celebrating our anniversary. This was a mystery date for my wife so it was up to me to decide where to take her. By reading the reviews this sounded like a good choice. One of the best if not the best places we have ever... More

We arrived at 5 pm right when they opened. We did not have reservations, but we figured since they had been open for 2 minutes we were likely safe. Well, we were told they had no more tables, but could squeeze us in at the bar if we wanted. We said OK. They walked us in and the place was... More

Brix got everything right...service was attentive without being overwhelming or rushed. The food ranged from excellent to spectacular. Most if not all the ingredients were locally procured and very fresh. I don't drink but my husband likes wine and he really liked the AZ wine he ordered. They did not miss a detail! We are here in Flagstaff for three... More

The fresh, local ingredients were stars of this memorable meal at Brix. The chef used seasonally available products to create some of the best tastes I've ever had in a restaurant. This small intimate space, probably holds about 50, more than met our expectations. The fresh tomato basil soup was a great start. I also had roasted beets and a... More

If you haven't been yet you really need to try Brix. The newly opened restaurant was impressive. The bar was large enough to accommodate while you wait. The leather sofas in front of the fireplace were a nice cozy touch. Room was a little loud and the lighting was very dark, but nothing a few plants and a tactful electrician... More
