Josephine's is a "cut above the rest" in Flagstaff with a great menu, good wine selection, nice atmosphere and good location (away from the crowds and ample parking). Their technique in presentation of the steak tenderloins and fingerlings with gouda cheese needs work. Being from Minneapolis, I guess I am spoiled by the availability of excellent restaurants. The steak, although... More

I had the fried green tomato & smoked turkey sandwich. I loved it! My wife had the quiche and it was quite good. I also ordered Zeppole...little Italian donuts that are served warm and dusted with confectionery sugar...out of this world! Our server was excellent, too!

Warm comfy surroundings, stellar service, and a deliciously-prepared original menu made this an exceptional and unexpectedly memorable dinner as we transited between Sedona and the Grand Canyon.

After our Bearizona Adventure, we had dinner at Josephines. One of my favorite eateries in Flag. Usually I have lunch and my favorite item is the turkey sandwich with fried green tomatoes, pickled onions....OMG. So good. Everytime I go here I am never disappointed. Great charm, great food, great service!

As a farewell to Flagstaff, we were taken to dinner by friends. The wine list was interesting, the food good, and the service was excellent. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the night. I would recommend this to anyone interested in creative food.

The Lamb lentil soup was superb as was the baklava Brie appetizer (which would also be good as a dessert). The flavor development on the soup broth was so good that I would have been happy just drinking the broth along with their fresh whole grain bread. I had the tuna tartar and it was very good. The rice was... More

Nice environment, pretty good entrees and service on a Friday night but dessert was a little off. Diverse menu with a Spanish flair, good wine list in a old stone house on a busy street. Would definitely return but not for the desserts.

Josephine's quaintness tucked in an old house is deceiving. The food was overpriced and average at best. The servers were trying their best. But the "word to the wise" is save your money for Picazzo's, an friendly restaurant serving delicious food.

We had a really lovely meal of Ahi Tuna at this pleasant Flagstaff bistro. We sat outside on the verandah, which was very pleasant but a shame the outside strings of lights did not work. The service was very good and the meal was a little expensive but good.

We recently bought a second home in Flagstaff to get out of the deplorable heat in Phoenix. We enjoy trying all the different restaurants. We tried Josephine's and went back two weeks later. It's a cozy, quaint place with friendly staff and delicious food. Everything looks yummy on the menu but I can't stray from ordering the filet mignon. I... More
