Found Josephines online and as it got good reviews we tried it. Reviews were spot on as Josephine's can hold its own with the best restaurants. The food was delicious and well presented. The restaurant is charming and is in a Craftsman style home providing a comfortable, relaxed setting for eating at reasonable prices. The sweet potato fries are delicious. Try... More

Josephine's is a jewel on the outskirts of downtown. We were told by friends that Josephine's could more than hold its own with the best restaurants anywhere and that is exactly what we found. The food was delicious and beautifully created and presented. Flavors were bold where needed (try the ancho mayonnaise with the fried green tomatoes) or delightfully subtle... More

The night we visited it wasn't too busy, but then it was mid-week, but what a super place it was. The staff were very knowledgeable and informative and very funny, the food was truly delicious and hot, which was probably the first time for days we had eaten hot food not just warm, lovely, quaint, homely feel to the place... Our situation: The bad service was made up for by the good food. We walked in and were not greeted, or directed to the hostess table, we eventually got seated by a large party table, in a corner. Our menus were placed on the table in front of us, no greeting again. As we were looking at the menus, a... More

We had lunch here and what a lovely surprise - we almost went back for dinner that night. I had the seared Ahi sandwich and my husband has the Korean tacos - both were delicious! The restaurant is in an old Craftsman style house built in 1911 - loads of charm. The wine list is excellent - Wine Spectator awards.... More

Located in a historical former house, this restaurant has several little rooms that provide a sense of privacy and personal attention. Additionally, there is a very inviting patio filled with flowers, shrubs and vines facing the street. The menu is creative and varied and food is fresh and well prepared. We had their version of eggs Benedict, which was served... More

I have had breakfast here at least 3 times on various visits to Flagstaff. The location is great, very close to downtown but far enough away that you have no hastles in terms of parking, etc. Our first breakfast there was exceptional. My friend told me it was the best beans he had ever had (high praise given his ethnic... More

We go through Flagstaff several times a year and try to have at least one meal in this wonderful restaurant. Everything on the menu is excellent from the fresh salads and bread to the entrees and the desserts. We love the salmon dinners but then we love the filet and all the trimmings. The chef does everything fresh and it... More

Our niece has lived in Flagstaff for many years and chose a favorite, Josephine's, for her wedding dinner after the ceremony. It was perfect in every way! They accommodated about 40 people in the main room where the bar is also conveniently located. We would definitely return on our next trip to enjoy the patio or one of the smaller... More

Just back from an outstanding meal at Josephine's! Food and service were excellent. We sat on the porch of this 1917 vintage Craftsman house and were very comfortable. Lovely patio, too, with heaters. The inside rooms are authentically Craftsman with lots of natural wood (the lighting inside could be dimmed somewhat though). The staff are especially good here.
