My wife and I sent to Sakura Sushi & Teppanyaki for my birthday and what a birthday it turned out to me. We were seated at one of the teppanyaki tables and the excellent service began immediately. But, we were in for a real treat when Chef Antonio came out. From the moment he started bringing his equipment out we... More

This is definitely one of my favorite place to eat sushi in Flagstaff. The staff is wonderful and the food is delicious! Every time I decide to go to dinner there regardless if it is with friends, family, or solo I always have a wonderful time and enjoy their delightful food.

This is our "go to" place for all special occasions and sometimes just because. We have been coming here for about 15 years and have never had a bad experience. Besides the great food, it is always entertaining. We have had Chef Antonio as our chef many times over the past few years. He is always friendly and puts on... More

My husband and I had never been here before and I have never been to a teppanyaki place, so I was excited to have this experience, especially on such a special night. We ordered the dinner for two and our Chef Antonio did such a great job. We were very impressed with all the neat tricks he does with the... More

I lived in Flagstaff for a very short time 5 years ago and remembered loving this place. 5 years later I came back for a Grand Canyon visit with my husband. I wanted to revist a place I loved with great food. It was nice to come back to one of my favorite places but it was even better this... More

We've eaten several dozen times at teppenyaki/sushi restaurants. We've eaten at this particular restaurant approximately three times prior to last night, and it has always been good food, excellent presentation, and just plain FUN! But...last night our cook's name was Gene and it was a whole different experience. First of all, Gene is an artist at cooking. He prepares and... More

I made reservations for a party of 3 for Sunday after Valentines. We were seated after a short wait. Then the waitress said they only had 2 teppanyaki cooks and our cook just started at another table. We got our soup and salad and drinks and the waitress then again said sorry but it was going to be about 3-4... More

Well, we used to love going here. All of the seasoned/skilled chefs have left, as well as the servers. We went there recently, 2/15/15 after not going for a year. This place has done a 360 in terms of presentation and satisfaction, in a negative fashion. It took 15 minutes to be seated(with reservations). We sat down at 6:45...the food... More

We were staying at the Doubletree the night before we flew out of Flagstaff. As this restaurant was in the hotel it made more sense to give it a try as oppose to driving somewhere else. Our 4 yr old grandson was with us & it was the 1st time all around experience for him. While our chef tried to... More

We do appreciate your feedback. Our chef's do love to put on a great show... but to customize as necessary for the age group at the table. We are sorry that the flames made your grandson nervous. It can be intimidating for very young children. Thank you for taking the time to post your review. More
