The food is terrific here, and the staff is exceptional. The prices are reasonable, and it beats anything that places like Denny's can put together. We've made it a personal favorite, and it's the first place we think of when going to breakfast or a good afternoon meal. Anita and the rest of the wait staff are terrific, and there's... More

We traveled through Flagstaff en route to Phoenix from Eastern Iowa. After a couple days of driving and dining on "chain fare" we stumbled onto the Country Host Restaurant and found it to be an instant highlight of our trip. First, it's located on historic Route 66. We were simply charmed by "Anita" who probably owns the trademark on the... More

Food was terrible had a discount from hotel so meal was to be 4.95 but I ordered a slice of ham and they charged me 4.99 for the slice of ham and then had the worst service ever tried to get service or butter for my bread and it took forever for me to get anyone and not once did... More

Had a coupon from the hotel we stayed at. The appearance from a distance wasn't impressive. We did go up and look and it looked interesting so we gave it a try. We had three different breakfasts and all were excellent. The place was clean. The service was good and the prices were reasonable.

We stayed at the Rodeway Inn and ate at the Country Host Restaurant before we left in the morning. We got the breakfast special. It was so much food for just $4.99!! We left nice and full to finish our trip to San Jose CA. Our waitress was real nice and friendly and the restaurant was clean and comfortable.

This meal was the best we had on our week-long vacation. Food was delicious, servings were large, and the prices were great. As an added bonus, the service was perfect. Wish we lived closer so we could eat there more often.

We found this place and chose it because it was close to our hotel and had good reviews. We both had the chicken fried steak and our sons had breakfast plates. Half way through my meal I started to notice little black hairs all over my plate. I immediately lost my appetite. I checked my sons plate and found a... More

My son who lives in Flagstaff recommended this place to his mother and me so when we had to stay in town over night we look the place up on line and saw that it opened at 5am which was great as we are early risers and most places open 6a at the earliest. The person there were very nice,... More

We came into the city late & had some hotel complications so this was a welcome food stop! I would recommend this restaurant! Had good service & a very pleasant atmosphere.
