Pit Stop along Route 66

Left LA headed for KC ... Went online to check out restaurants featured on Food Network's DDD. Just a couple of miles off I-44 along historic Route 66, Salsa Brava was on the list of those visited by G Fieri. Went to the SB website to check out the menu. Read through the selections and made our... read more

We were told this was the place to go! Not really sure what was the worse, the mediocre server who seemed to have a hard time understanding our orders, to the mediocre food. The biggest plus to me was the salsa bar, but chips were $1.99 a small tray after the first. (they only gave us 2 trays for a... More

Lots of options for GF, Vegetarian, etc. Food was reasonably priced and tasted delicious. The salsa bar leaves something for everyone to enjoy. The service was very good. I'd recommend to anyone! It's just outside of downtown on Route 66, making parking pretty easy and location convenient.

We have lived in Flagstaff since 1978 and this is by far our favorite Mexican restaurant. They have a fantastic salsa bar and the dinner portions are easily shared by my husband and I. The owner, John, is always coming up with new and delicious dishes so you never tire of eating here. Guy Fieri from Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins... More

During our family vacation in New Mexico and Arizona, my husband was on a mission to find Indian Tacos for us to try. This is a multi-layered taco on Indian Fry Bread. We found those at Salsa Brava! We took our meal as take-out, and had way more food than we could eat! Each Indian Taco easily fed 2 of... More

I had the Stuffed Sopapilla just like Guy had on Triple D, I highly recommend it! The salsa bar was spicy, but I loved it!! Definitely worth the wait time!

We ate here because it was featured on Diners, Drive ins and Dives. When we got there it was mobbed but the hostess was very friendly and upbeat and assured us that we would be seated soon. We waited about 15 minutes and were seated at a table that had some make shift chairs that we so low I needed... More

Al the food and drinks including happy hour are made fresh. Small tapas are awesome. Blackened salmon fajita and enchiladas are amazing. We stop here every time we drive by from North Carolina

We have been to Salsa Brava many times over the years living here in Flagstaff. The food is good and always fresh. Decided to try something new and ordered the pork ribs with coconut shrimp. I have to say I was pleasantly surprise. The ribs were tender and very tasty. The coconut shrimp were big and cooked well. We also... More

There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. That said it isn't exceptional either. Truth is that I've never understood why this place is so popular.
