Put your skepticism aside and have a memorable meal!

This was a fun stop for lunch at a place I would probably never have considered if it had not been recommended in the AAA guidebook. Granted, it looks a little run down, but it's on historic Route 66 and I'm glad we chose it because my hamburger was literally the best I've had in years, with the... read more

We were looking for something different to eat for dinner (no chain restaurants) and saw this place. It looked cute, so we gave it a try. Very good home cooked dinner fare! We all had the steak special and ended it by splitting the Elvis ice cream creation. Some people may say "it's dirty" or "it looks outdated". It's not... More

I had seen this place on another trip to Flagstaff and had read about it. But when I walked in I was disappointed. It was dirty, as if they had not renovated since the place opened. The place was packed and they offered some delicious milk shakes but because the place looked so run down I was skeptical about the... More

This was our lunch stop after leaving Willams chosen by our tour guide as a typical American Diner and still on Route 66, no disappointment on that score.Well all 28 of us rolled into the diner and caused a bit of a stir as to numbers and in hindsight I would advise to book ahead if travelling in a large... This is like walking right back in time, it is just like I have seen in films. We are from the UK so had never been in somewhere the similar. The food was very nice and portions are large. We found this to be an experience we will remember. I would definitely advise a visit here!

We had lunch at the Diner based on a local recommendation. The highlight was the milkshakes, made the old fashioned way. Breakfast is served all day and we had both a breakfast and a lunch item. Both fell in the OK bracket, nothing really to complain about, but nothing memorable either. Probably worth visiting once for the historic Route 66... More

Reminiscent of the '60's. Nice neon signs. Food was very good and live entertainment was quite pleasant. A must stop if travelling Route 66.

The food was average. I had a chicken salad croissant sandwich. It was OK, but the chicken was coated or chopped than cooked. It was different than most chicken salads; it was brown around the edges. The croissant was very good and the fries were very good too. My son had a hamburger and said it was good. My husband... More

Live music on Thursday night. Old fashioned milk shakes with over 100 flavors to chose from. We all loved it. Even my cranky 15 yesr old.
