We had dinner at the Cottage Place Restaurant. The menu selections were varied and a little pricy, but worth it. The Rack of Lamb for Two that we shared at the Cottage Place Restaurant was one of the best meals that we've had. It was exquisitely prepared and very tasty. Service was excellent, and we enjoyed the chef making the... More

The CottagePlace has a lot of charm and is a great fine dining choice for a wonderful mountain town that doesn't have too many upscale restaurants. We had the escargots and chateaubriand for two with a very nice, relatively inexpensive, but tasty bottle of wine. The service was very nice and I was charmed by the chef who came around... More

By far, this has to be the best restaurant in Flagstaff! The service was great, the food was amazing and everyone in our party enjoyed it. The prices were not outrageous and you definitely get your money's worth. It's basically informal fine dining. We had reservations but we drove right by the restaurant! You can easily miss it at night.... More

We had a lovely meal while visiting Flagstaff. The soups were perfectly executed and served up table-side. We opted for the Chateaubriand but found that while it was good it certainly did not amaze as the vegetables served with it seemed like an after thought. The restaurant is very small and service is very attentive. Definitely a good choice for... More

Celebrated our first anniversary here. Although the lost our reservation, they were very accommodating to get us in. We had the chateaubriand for two, and it was delicious. We would go back again for a special occasion.

Late arrival in Flagstaff caused us concern about eating at this charming place, but we decided to give it a go.We checked in on a Saturday evening with no reservations, but the welcoming staff asked if we could wait about 20 min, which we did, and were fortunate to be given a table. Owners and staff are at the TOP!... More

For 20 years the Cottage Place has been our favorite restaurant. You used to get soup and salad with your dinner. Now you get one of the other. You used to get a great bread assortment including a cracker like bread that was fantastic. Now you just get one simple break. To show how cheap they are now getting Soup... More

We had the tasting menu, and I would recommend it to everyone. The squash soup was delicious, we had mint crusted lambs rack as our main, the meat was very tender and tasty. The desert was spectacular, we both had the pear flambé, which was flambeed at our table. The service was very professional and we had a really nice... More

We were one of the first reservations of the night and we were seated at the worst table. My chair was bumped by the soup cart and each server every single time they walked by. My soup, the tomato basil, tasted like heated spaghetti sauce and my husbands, the winter squash, tasted like pumpkin pie. We opted for the Chateaubriand... More
