Very pleasant surroundings, excellent service and food. One of two upscale restaurants in Flagstaff (Josephine's being the other). Highly recommended for a special occasion.

We came here for a special new year celebration dinner, and of course, it was spectacular. 6 courses, 4 wine pairings, sparking wine, and amazing service. Frank is a master. We had the most beautifully done scallop for an appetizer, lobster bisque, bread. By the time my salmon and my date's smoked ribeye came, we were full, and had to... More

If tripadvisor would allow single word reviews then this would be the place to use it - everything was simply excellent. Having booked and arrived on time we were seated immediately, service was fast efficient and professional - all of the food we ordered was fantastic. This place deserves its great reviews

We heard about this restaurant in an old house in Flagstaff and wanted to try it. Christmas eve we had a reservation for 2:30 pm and we had called a week earlier. The Cottage Place is in an older house near downtown and other restaurants. It is beautifully decorated and although not large the tables are arranged to give you... More

My husband and I really enjoyed the 6 course tasting menu. Why not let the chef give you his best food? I had wine with mine - very well chosen. A white that highlighted the winter squash ravioli and garlic veloute soup! At first sip I thought the red a bit harsh, but once I started eating the rich cassoulet,... More

Visited the restaurant with my husband and mother in law while skiing in Flagstaff. The restaurant was suggested by the B&B at 410 staff and after looking at the Trip Advisor reviews we weren't going to look any further. We had a rack of lamb and a Gorgonzola crusted fillet. It was all out of this world fabulous! The fillet... More

Our couples group came to this old house for the holidays, and enjoyed great service and food from Shannon and the team here. Chateaubriand for two, spinach/goat cheese strudel, and lamb chops were our choices - all excellent and beautifully presented. If you want the recipes for their innovative cuisine, their cookbook is now for sale. Parking on the street... More

We had dinner at the Cottage Place Restaurant. The menu selections were varied and a little pricy, but worth it. The Rack of Lamb for Two that we shared at the Cottage Place Restaurant was one of the best meals that we've had. It was exquisitely prepared and very tasty. Service was excellent, and we enjoyed the chef making the... More

The CottagePlace has a lot of charm and is a great fine dining choice for a wonderful mountain town that doesn't have too many upscale restaurants. We had the escargots and chateaubriand for two with a very nice, relatively inexpensive, but tasty bottle of wine. The service was very nice and I was charmed by the chef who came around... More

By far, this has to be the best restaurant in Flagstaff! The service was great, the food was amazing and everyone in our party enjoyed it. The prices were not outrageous and you definitely get your money's worth. It's basically informal fine dining. We had reservations but we drove right by the restaurant! You can easily miss it at night.... More
