Can't say enough....

It is rustic, down right old... but it has great pizza and beer. It is in the middle of downtown and has been in business forever. If you go to downtown Flagstaff enjoy the many bars and put a stop at Alpine Pizza on the list.

after a long drive from phoenix due to traffic, we decided to stop at Alpine Pizza to get a pizza to go, this was about 930PM. When we got back to the room , the pizza was half cooked and tasted horrible, so bad that we didn't even eat it and had to venture off for more food, I posted... More

I am not sure if I think it is great pizza, but it is certainly good, and the slice-and-a-salad special is not to be beaten! The atmosphere is kinda rustic and many of the tables are very carved-up, but overall the funky pizza place comes through nicely.

Great spot for pizza and beer... we popped in on Super Bowl Sunday for a quick lunch. The food was good and the portions are huge. Pizza is better than the calzone.

Alpine Pizza was once the place to go for pizza in Flagstaff. I have been there since the 90's. People have carved their names into the wood of the booths for years. Lately I have noticed that the quality of the pizza has declined. This is a college town with lots of other pizza places eager to take the crown... More

The atmosphere and layout of the restaurant was fun! I like how it's easily found and located near the heart of town, and I really enjoyed the history and original booth seating from the 1970's. The food was pretty good, but nothing extraordinary. We went very late in the evening and there were still a few locals there. I might... More

There was one other group of people in the place. With a screaming kid, enough about that. Service was horrible, the staff was up by the bar talking. My husband had to walk up to the bar to get a drink refill. The pizza was raw, bland and tasted like cardboard. When we finally got the bill the waitress did... More

The Pizza was very bland and tasteless. Luckily there were condiments on the table to adjust the seasoning level but overall we were disappointed in the Food. Service was Ok but nothing great.

We have been going to Alpine since 1979 when we attended school at NAU. The pizza is still terrific! But the restaraunt is small and outdated, no air conditioning in the summer and it can get stuffy inside.

Arrived after a rainy drive into Flagstaff, starved and looking for pizza. This popped up on TA as a recommendation. Strolled in to a very "hippy" style pizza place covered in a graffiti from many college nights. Ordered a few beers and pizza. It was fresh, and very good. The crust was one of my favorite parts. The staff is... More
