If you're looking for standard Mexican fare with no frills, this place will do the trick. You won't find modern updated décor or fancily attired waitstaff, but you will find a friendly, relaxed atmosphere with your basic Mexican food and drink. When I was there, they were busy setting up tables for a group of about 20, so little ol'... More

I came here on the suggestion of my mother and was hugely disappointed. The food tasted like microwaved TV dinners and was bland to boot. Only good items they had was the iced tea, and sopapillas. Service was good but didn't make up for the inadequate food. I will not come back

I really did not like this. Everything was liquidised like baby food, event the beans. The nachos came with an unlabelled squeezy bottle of something hot and spicy and a small jug of something brown -what apparently was supposed to taste of avocado and salsa, but was inedible. My wrap came with brown gooey stuff inside, with weird tasting lettuce... More

One of three best (non-fast) food locations in Flagstaff for Mexican. Prices are a bit higher than La Fonda or Casa Bonita...but food is good. In fact, they have my vote for the BEST ENCHILADA sauce with nary a close second. Larger building so seating is typically NOT a problem unless they are short handed with waiters.

How this place is popular is beyond me. Runny hot sauce. Every dish glopped with the "Glop" of some kind of thick syrupy cheese on top. Same sauce on everything. Yuck. Stay Away.

Funny what u get when u least expect it....a real treat, both price and quality. The chicken was moist and tasty ....the drinks were inexpensive and plenty. Very good home cooking S/W way. Ck it out, u won't be sorry.

We had asked the hotel staff in Flagstaff about a good Mexican restaurant and they gave my wife some confusing directions so we ended up on Route 66 and saw Kachina and dropped in. We found the food very good (my wife raved about the taquitos and I had a chicken enchilada/tacl combination). Margarita was good as well. Would go... More

I lived in Flagstaff for about 20 years, and my emotional food for this town was and always will be Kachina. The salsa choices - both perfect: one with avocado chunks throughout , one just a nice, firey red sauce. I usually mix them- both are sooooo tasty. The chicken enchiladas melt in your mouth- just perfect in terms of... More

My family had eaten here previously and said it was some of the best Mexican food they've ever had, and when I went for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised that it really was pretty good (I had a chicken chimichanga with red sauce on top), and even came back the next day for more! haha. I'm from southern... More

I am a loyal customer but had problems on my last visit. Waitress took two orders at the same time. Told other customer their order would take longer because of the items they selected. Our order was simple but she brought in both orders at the same time. This was the first time I didn't get a refill or server... More
