Pizzicletta has amazing wood-fired pizzas. The toppings are creative and delicious. I love the salad, dressed very simply with a really good olive oil. The menu is small, but there are two daily special pizzas. The house-made gelato is always amazing. It is a tiny joint, with a large, great table to share.

This is a no-frills place with good old-fashioned wood-fired oven pizzas. Stick to the basics--marinara and margherita are good pizzas (especially for take-home leftovers reheated the next day). Wines are good house-quality. Olive appetizer is mundane.

What a teeny but sweet place. There is outdoor counter seating along the outside walls, which is nice because inside there is one large community table, plus some counter seating as well. We sat outside because it was a beautiful evening. Yes, the pizzas are great, lots of flavor, but the crust is sort of spongy rather than crispy. I... More

It was marketed as the best place for pizza in the city but it is not. Good pizza but just it. Small place, no much variety.

I have eaten pizza in many Italian cities. This pizza at Pizzicletta was truly authentic. I loved the thin-crust pizza so much that I plan to return again soon. Also, I appreciated the free sparkling water and the thoughtful wine list. Finally, I "inhaled" the restaurant-made gelato--the best I've ever had (including the gelato I ate in Italy). I enthusiastically... More

With the reviews on line as well as a couple of friends we became eager to try this little joint. Well it was of course busy so we were sure it had to be good. It wasn't and we won't be back again especially for the limited choice you have in the way of pizza and the high prices. We... More

First the likes, the pizza is good not as good as Andreolis in the Valley but better than most you eat locally. They have good beer and wine. It is intimate, in that you are sitting really near total strangers but it adds to the atmosphere. The bads, front of house was a bit snotty with us, quite rude really.... More

It has been awhile since we were able to eat here (having kids does that), but we got away last night for a date night. We were seated at the main table (note that - there is one main table that 20 people can sit at) next to another group and across from some people my wife ended up knowing.... More

My wife and I saw Pizzicletta's featured on Arizona Highways TV program so we had to check it out on our next trip to Flagstaff. The space is small and the seating is cozy. We sat next to the glass and watched them make our pizza. We were really surprised how quickly it was baked. That oven is so hot... More

I went into this restaurant off the street and ordered a pizza with arugula and prosciutto. The crust was delicious; I watched it bake in the oven from my place at the small bar. The decor of the restaurant is cool. Bar and waitstaff were chatty with me, as I was by myself. The waitress suggested a basil-vanilla gelato, which... More
