Enjoy the Beer and the Food

If you can sit outside you can watch the trains go by just yards from your table. Great beer and very good food. We ordered a mix of things and we would give good reviews to the sandwiches, burgers and BBQ. We thought a very good place to eat. Not the best in town but you should have a good... read more

We stopped in for dinner on a Wednesday evening. The restaurant was crowded and noisy, but we were seated immediately (note- not all of the seating is comfortable; we were at a high-top with backless stools.) The food was just average, for the most part. The California Tri-Tip Sandwich just did not look appetizing, and it didn't stand out at... More

This place is very busy and popular, but somehow we had never had a meal here. Stopped by at a recent happy hour, but we weren't too happy to find out there are no food specials. Only drinks. So ordered a regular meal. It was fine, but nothing to write home about. Yes, there is a lovely patio area outside... More

This is a great place. It's situated between NAU campus and downtown. Lots of seating, especially in the summer when the patio is open. Parking can be a problem, but no worse than anywhere else in downtown Flagstaff. The food is typical pub grub, but everything I've tried there has been good. The selection of beers is great.

Had a great evening. Waitress kept us entertained by playing a joke on our friend. Had appetizers dinner, beer and wine. Liked atmosphere, will come back.

The beer is great. It's why this place exists. The food is all pretty good, but nothing to write home about. Still, the greasy foods go great with the beer, which is why you are going to Lumberyard. Just not for the health-conscious.

Just OK is far as I can go. Been there before and hesitated to go this time but followed the crowd. Waiter needs a personality lift, but I'll look past that because NAU was just starting and he probably had academics on his mind - whidh is a good thing. My partner suggested I try the Tri-Cobb salad. Although the... More

Had an excellent dinner. Nachos followed by the Southwest salad. Others had pulled pork sandwich, bowl of chili- everything was great. The menu was extensive and far more creative than other brewpubs. Beer was excellent!

Stopped in to have dinner and although it is casual fare, it was really good. Great service and an upbeat ambience. We had a nice waitress who was very attentive and a positive person. The barbecue was good and the Vietnamese burger, according to my family, was delicious. Give it a try .... you will like it.

Stayed in Flagstaff for a long weekend and decided to give Lumberyard a try. It's a typical brew pub with decent, average food. Good beer selection and large menu. My husband and I split a regular sized garden salad and it was quite good. He had roast beef dip sandwich and it was average. I had the grilled shrimp and... More
