I do a fair amount of business in Flagstaff, and find myself cruising down the list of top places to eat when hungry. Yesterday we landed in Criollo. This place is pretty neat. Right in the "downtown" area of Flagstaff, and close to the middle of everything. Parking can be an issue, and it is a one-way street. We had... More

This is our second visit, which was just as fantastic as the first. Must have Bloody Mary to start. All meats and other ingredients from local growers. The Pablano grits and salsas are fabulous. Atmosphere is hip and bar is a rustic focal point with a barrel of Tequila. Highly recommend this Latin epicurean delight.

OMG - The best meal I have had in years. The pork belly tacos and spicy, sweet short rib tacos were to die for. I would eat there every day if I lived in Flagstaff!

We found this place simply by accident. The menu was creative, varied, and mercifully free of too many of the kinds of "Latin foods" found in chain roadhouses. Although the portions were a little small for our tastes, they were savory and well plated. Service was a little standoffish: not necessarily a problem for us, though.

We always get the Haitian. I practically lick my plate clean. It is so delicious! We have had it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Love looking at the local art on the walls. Best restaurant in downtown Flagstaff. Very locavore and a cool, Bohemian vibe.

We ate there for dinner and then again for lunch. Creative, delicious, well-priced menu in a very relaxing setting. Wish they would open one in Santa Fe, I'd be there often! My husband had the duck tacos, excellent, and the calamari, also excellent. Wonderful soups, specials, etc. staff seem to really love this place, it was a great time!

This restaurant is in the center of Flagstaff and we went on a Saturday night. Best idea is to have a reservation, but the hostess took our cell number and we walked around and explored downtown. The wait was about 45 minutes and we never did get a table, but they offered seats at the bar which we took. A... More

Went on a Saturday night at 7pm. Service was slow. I chose poorly, the fried pork chop with grits was horrible. My wife's fish dish was great. Choose carefully.

We arrived in Flagstaff very late and didn't want fast food for dinner. As we walked around town someone suggested Criollo. What a fantastic recommendation. The food was delicious and the service was gracious and professional.
