I went here because it was fairly close to the hotel and they had a coupon for $5 off which made it very reasonable. I looked online and decided what to order before I went. I had the Chicken Santorini and it was AMAZING. I had one specific about the order and they did it perfectly. It has mushrooms and... More

Best thing about the meal? The Bloody Mary. It is a Greek style Bloody Mary with cumin and fennel. Was worth every penny. The 60/40 burger was just ok. I've had better back in Missouri. Their fries are fresh cut and very good. G's burger with fried egg was good. He loved the fries. Still, the best part of the... More

Three of us went for dinner on 9/13. We ordered 3 appetizers because we couldn't agree on just one. The roasted chick peas came in a huge bowl, enough food for a meal and they were fabulous. The calamari, as well, came in a large bowl and was equally as tasty. The lemon/chicken soup was more appetizer size and was... More

We like to eat at Taverna and enjoy their food. Have brought lots of people here for dinner and always have a good time. An on going problem with this restaurant is that the restrooms always seem to be out of toilet paper, seat covers, hand towels and have trash on the floor. It doesn't seem as if they have... More

I visited the Flagstaff area over the Labor day weekend and the hotel recommended Taverna. I ordered the Lamb Souvlaki. I was really impressed. The meal came with the traditional kebob, broccoli, asparagus, and potatoes. The kebob met my expectations and had a good marinade. But any place should be able to get that right. What was surprising is the... More

Happy Hour was very busy -- lots of energy, but surprisingly no students -- a surprise because this is so close to NAU. Food was good and reasonably priced. This is a more grown-up place to eat than most of the Flagstaff eateries.

Awesome ambiance, food was tasty but the portions were a joke. I eat a lot of Greek food and while tasty the portions were tiny. Gyro's which are normally a pita stuffed with meat presented as a few pieces of thinly shaved meat and a half pita. I ordered an appy after the main course and had my friends bread.... More

Passing through Flagstaff and my family and I came across this gem after a visit to the Grand Canyon. Located next to many hotels and a large university, its staffed mostly with a younger set that works perfectly for the area, and the place had a positive energy. I can't recall my server's name and on my receipt, I see... More

We visited with a tour group of 20 that included our 12 yo grandson with a nut allergy. The manager came by and assured him that the kitchen was aware of allergy questions and that his pizza would be free of contamination. He had a great, relaxed meal thanks to the time taken by the manager. I'm not a Greek... More
