Smaller restaurants have great food and nice servers and interesting decor.

Found this place in downtown Flagstaff, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had lunch there. Outstanding food! Quaint furnishings, clean, and quick service. Ample parking even in this busy area. Our waitress, Anne, was friendly and efficient! We will come back again when we are in town!

The food at MartAnne's is delicious: everything was fresh, hot, and appetizing. Menu is mostly Mexicanish with some American breakfast fare. Mexican dishes we were served were mild to medium hot. They served a bloody Mary with many condiments on a stick. Portion size are big: some customers took food home. Expect it to be busy for breakfast. Only drawback:... More

They do not serve complimentary tortilla chips and salsa as every good mexican restaurant do. Our server needs to smile more. She always had a worried or concerned look. I ordered the ceviche appetizer. I was disappointed that they used "imitation crab" because it wasn't indicated in the menu. It was also very watery. I also ordered the fish tacos.... More

We were told this was a good breakfast place and it really was! So many offerings, with both Mexican and American tastes and almost too large servings. Bustling and obviously very popular but our server was still very attentive. You can park across the railroad tracks a couple blocks away if the lot is full. The restrooms are reached from... More

The place is an artistic kind of place, but had the best Mexican food I have ever had. Prices were good, wait staff was very good. A little hard to find as you're looking for the tradition Mexican restaurant. Excellent art all over the place. A quirkly joint that is very much worth it.

I've lived in the Southwest for decades. The tacos I had here were unique. Not bad unique. Just unique. The decorations were unique as well. Parking is very limited. The food was unusual but ok. Nothing special but nothing bad either.

We were passing thru, 1 night, and the only hotel available was crummy. The next morning, we were all tired & cranky, and looking for a decent place for breakfast wasn't going very well. We stumbled upon this local haunt, and the whole day turned super! Service was very attentive, the decor was intriguing, and the food was out of... More

I arrived at 9:00 on a sunday morning and it was crowded but I only had to wait around 10 minutes. The hostess was very nice. My server was a sour, unhappy kid who took my order and then disappeared. I had to ask another server about my order and had to ask several times for a refill of my... More

I had the shrimp bikini tacos - good flavor but the chipotle sauce was too spicy for me. The beans were also too spicy and I substituted rice for the potatoes (which was not a good choice since the rice was bland). On the other hand, my husband loved his carne asada plate - he enjoys spicy foods. The sangria... More
