Important: this is a cash-only place and parking is very limited. We celebrated a birthday breakfast here at this very busy diner-type bistro. We enjoyed the service staff, Dia de los Muertos-style artwork, large south and east windows overlooking Route 66/trains that were coming and going. This is not a quiet joint on a weekend. We were here on a... More

MartAnne's moved from around the corner into a bigger, cleaner-looking place. The old place was very funky, but great. The new place brought some of the funk (the artwork and atmosphere) along, and is certainly bigger. We still waited about 15 minutes on a busy Saturday morning. But by the time we left, the crowd had thinned out. The food... More

Delightful, delicious, fresh-made, cheerful, noisy, busy, worth the wait! Consistently the best breakfast in Flagstaff!

We have only been there once for breakfast with a local who loves it. We'd go back again, for sure. We didn't try any of the Mexican dishes, while our local friend grooved on some rich looking Mexican fare. My buckwheat pancakes with a poached egg side was so delicious it woul be hard for me to try anything else.... More

The influence of New Mexico flavors are alive and well represented at MartAnnes in Flag. If you you know New Mexico cooking you will understand just how hard it is to find good chile outside of the land of enchantment and more importantly what to do with it. Chile fanatics will appreciate the Chillequilles in either red or green chile.... More

Breakfast is awesome - huge portions of well browned hash browns, rice and beans. The chiliquiles are a must-have - the green sauce is better than the red but the 'Christmas' mixture of the two is a tasty alternative to all green. Friendly service, food comes out a bit slowly because it's all cooked well and to order--if there's a... More

Great ingredients, huge portions. The place is always packed, so you can't be in too much of a hurry, or in need for quiet. The only negative for me, Mr. Mastercharge, is no credit cards.

Huge portions. Spicy eggs with beans, guac, crunchy hash browns. Yummy. Attentive service too with the coffee and waters being topped up. Best place for breakfast in Flagstaff.

This place is amazing. We came from New Mexico and love the place. We visited twice in 3 days. I ordered Martanne's Favorite and my husband ordered the GTC omelette. Delicious!

I generally don't write a lot of restaurant reviews...but I was impressed. We went with the chilaquiles and they were excellent. The portions are large, so my wife and I split an order. We also had the pork and green chiles added to our chilaquiles. Great food, good coffee and good service. Too bad for us we live so far... More
