Unique Pizza

Had lunch while bumming in Flagstaff. As a big pizza fan I was intrigued by the Fry-Bread pizza. While the fry-bread crust was as good as expected, I was a bit disappointed by the toppings. I chose pepperoni, bacon, and tomatoes and thought it was a bit bland. My wife, on the other hand, chose the... read more

This place was great- a little confusing to find since the usual entrance was under construction and we had to enter through the hotel. The food was fantastic, will go back next time we're in Flagstaff!!

We arrived in Flagstaff late on a Monday afternoon and Charly’s was one of the few nice sounding restaurants that were open (according to our guidebook). The location is great - on the ground floor of the vintage Weatherford Hotel in quaint downtown Flagstaff - but the food was pretty average and unremarkable. We had the Posole and a Portabello... Having a meal in a historic hotel on any one of 3 floors is fun. The main restaurant is on the main floor, the Gopher Hole is a pub in the basement, and the Zane Grey room is on the top floor with a balcony. Yes, there is outside seating on the balcony. I have eaten there many times and... More

Just on a fluke we decided to eat at the Weatherford based on a random recommendation. I had the Ahi and my husband had the prime rib. Both were excellent, would definitely eat here again. The host and waiter were both congenial and service was very attentive. Great old hotel! We normally don't like eating hotel food but this was... More

We ate at this place the other night after a day of skiing at Snowbowl. The atmosphere was very cool and the food was very good. A little pricey but good.

'Stopped in for lunch at this restaurant adjacent to the charming (1897) Weatherford Hotel in old town Flagstaff. Had the "Posole" ( a southwestern stew) with a cold local beer and some Navajo fry bread. Fantastic! It doesn't get any better in Flagstaff, in fact, the posole was as good as any I've ever tasted. I went back again two... More

Good food, good service, impressive old hotel. While the food didn't knock me out, it was good, and the atmosphere of the old hotel is definitely worth a visit.

Went here at 1pm and were given a good looking lunch menu but one of our party asked if they were still serving breakfast food... Our waiter went to the kitchen asked and returned with breakfast menus and told us we could order anything we wanted. The breakfast Navajo taco was awesome, as were the eggs Benedict. My 18 year... So this is my favorite bar. Not because it's an awesome club or because the drinks particularly stand out, thought the Smirnoff 2.50 special is always around. It's because I've had the best memories with my buddies there, all of them. It's a bit corny but true whether it's a band, upstairs at the balcony, or at the new "goffer... More
