Good wine, great food

We try to eat at Cuvee 928 when we stay in Flagstaff. We've never been disappointed with the service, food or wine. This was no exception. It's the first time we've been there in the summer and on a Friday night, so we weren't sure what to expect. We were seated right away in the bar area next... read more

Have eaten here several times before but not since last November, and our meal last Friday night was the best ever! My wife raved about her "Steak Caesar Salad" and I really liked the evening special Walleye served on Polenta. Have nor found Walleye served many places in the Western States. Out server was friendly and very knowledgeable about food... More

This restaurant was a real disappointment. The menu was rather limited. The lobster mac and cheese which was discussed in several reviews here, was no longer on the menu. We were greeted by a befuddled hostess who started to seat walk-ins before our party which had reservations. Our server seemed barely interested in us or her immediate responsibility of taking... What I loved most about this restaurant....We wanted a dish not on the menu (a salmon salad). The waitress wrote down our request and made it happen. The salad was so good we told her it should be added to the menu. We also ordered the steak salad with tomatoes and avocados. Both dishes were scrumptious! We sat outside and... More

In Flagstaff for a couple days and were wandering around downtown. A local recommended this place and we were very pleased. Nice cocktails, I had a Manhattan that they jazzed up...delicious. I am normally a steak guy, but tried the ratatoulie loaf on a whim. Really, really good...homemade tomato sauce for a base, polenta and a really delicious ratatoulie baked... More

I love Cuvee on a summer afternoon. The patio is awesome and the staff very friendly and informative. The reason I say summer afternoon is that inside, while nicely decorated, there are giant televisions inevitably blaring sports. I find this to be somewhat incongruous with the atmosphere and avoid sitting inside at all costs. When the weather is too cool... More

The menu is limited, but the service and ambiance were just what we were looking for. We hate chain restaurants and had spend a long day on the road. When we arrived, the main dining/bar area was very noisy due to a large group of people. The host gave us a choice of dining areas and we chose the room... More

There were four of us for dinner and were intrigued by some entrees of a very different nature. First, we tried the Mac & Cheese of the day...."Ginger Mac & Cheese" as an appetizer and liked it so much one ordered the full serving as an entree. Really good. Other entrees were Squash Noodles with a excellent Marinara sauce, Ahi... More

People rave about this place. It is over priced, food is okay. Ambiance is non existent. The prices were too high. It wrecked the rest of our night because we felt so ripped off.

Perfect for a date night or small groups, the food is actually very good. Go for happy hour and stay for dinner.
