My family makes it a point to stop at this restaurant when we are going through Flagstaff. Their Carnitas plate is excellent, as is their Carne Adovado.

I have been here many, many times and always have a great meal. The salsa bar is great, the Lily's margarita is better than Lily's (a restaurant in Rocky Point) and there are some real gems on the menu.

Try the dorados style tacos which are like flash fried tacos. Harder than soft tacos, softer than hard tacos but delicious. Chips were good, thicker style and there was a fresh salsa bar. Was a busy place and we would return.

On top of that the food was good and... More

Raw chicken, bland pork burro, forgotten beans and rice, one plate of beans was black while two others were grey. And super slow.

Came here for lunch at 11am on a Friday. We were seated with a basket of chips and empty cups. Had I not gone to the bathroom to wash my hands, we would never have known what the cups were for or even that there was a salsa bar. We tried three of the salsas. None were remarkable, but one... More

When we got here on Monday about 1:00 my husband noted that, hmmm, no patrons, oh yes 2 ladies in a back booth. He said that should have been a clue. The waitress was pleasant and seated us immediately, why not we had the whole place to ourselves. We had not been here before so we wanted to take our... More
