We went for lunch. We were not impressed. There is a choice a 3 proteins and most of the table decided on chicken but they ran out of chicken. I then decided on the beef tips, squash and zucchini and Mac and cheese. The beef tips were over done, the Mac and cheese tasted like it was a boxed dinner... More

It is the perfect date night... 2 miles from our house. We've been eating here once a season for the last few years. I say once a season because they chage the menu with the seasons, which I absolutely love! They source local and regional products, and always include some more unusual dishes on their menu. (If you ever see... More

Five Senses is THE place to dine on the weekends in Murfreesboro. Great place for a date night...Mitchell Murfree always makes the rounds and helps everyone feel right at home. Feeling the dining blues because every other restaurant in town is part of a national chain? Five Senses will get you right back to where you belong.

We were told that out-of-town business executives were often taken to this restaurant as a special treat, and we could see why. The morel mushroom appetizer was outstanding as was my pork carnitas dish on cheese grits. The dining scene in Murfreesboro is almost all of the chain restaurant variety. This restaurant stands out in the environment and makes for... More

Ate here with my wife for a date night. I've been looking for a local upscale restaurant. First impression when we walked in, modern industrial décor, business casual clientele, and friendly staff. We were seated by the window. There was a date night special that night (Monday nights maybe?), two meals, appetizer and desert for $50 which was a pleasant... More

After reading all the wonderful reviews, we decided to give this restaurant a try and boy are we glad we did! We went for lunch today. The lunch is limited to three proteins plus several side dish choices, as well as grilled flatbread gourmet pizzas. I had the beef tenderloin tips with horse radish and it was EXCELLENT. My sides...
