Everything we have ever ordered was wonderful. Some entrees are a little too small (bang bang chicken tacos) but it is all very good.

The first time my wife and I drove up to the restaurant, we were worried. It's in a little strip mall and I haven't been to too many great food spots in strip malls. When we walked in, I got even a little more worried. The decor isn't exactly fancy. The staff was super cordial though and the menu was... More

Each time we return the place is just as good as the time me before. I have shrimp and grits and of ALL the places I have eaten this southern dish it is second to none!! Will go back many more times in the future.

This is a small little place to go enjoy some very good food if you are in Murfreesbough, TN. Cajun style food and Mexican as well. Everything prepared by their in house chef to perfection. The Shrimp and Grits are great as is the of the dishes they serve.

The Blue Cactus does both Mexican and Cajun dishes. I tried the fish taco, which was good, but different from others I have had. They use tilapia or salmon--I had tilapia--and you can get it grilled, fried, or blackened. It was topped with cajun remoulade, romaine lettuce, and pico de gallo, and served in a flour tortilla. I prefer the... More

I imagine that given the right circumstances this place would be great. We had dinner there early on a friday night. Great craft beer on draft. I had two choices on fish tacos (which I was told were the best). I wanted grilled as opposed to fried so I went with the salmon. They were ok. Love salmon, just not... More

We heard about this restaurant from a local contractor about 6 months ago. We decided to try it out and have been back several times -- always with the same result: great taste and great quality. The restaurant is small and cozy. It is decorated with a Southwest flair and lots of wood. Seating is available in both tables and... More

I live down the street from the place and always pass by it. We wanted to try something different and decided to stop in and I am glad we did. It was a great atmosphere nice and quite. We ordered watermelon margaritas but they do no come frozen only on the rocks, they are really good though. The food was... More
