Thai Rak Thai restaurant was opened in 2006. It is located on Adams Avenue, downtown of Scranton. The restaurant is made up of two dining rooms which serve approximately 120 customers. The interior is decorated with some unique artworks from Thailand. As you dine in, the Asian style interior design, foods and Thai music will give you a warm and comfortable atmosphere, perfect for chatters, family gathering, and even business meals. We serve original and fusion Thai foods which include vegetarian, vegan, seafood, poultry and meat, choice of noodles and rice, which are seasoned with Thai spice and herbs. For beverages, we offer drinks that are originally served in Thailand such as Thai tea, coffee, coconut juice, etc. Besides, our restaurant is BYOB which allows customers to bring their own choice of alcohol beverages without extra charge for opening the bottle and chilling. We also reserve tables for customers who plan to have celebration on special occasions. Nonetheless, we have our special way of dedicating birthday songs which will definitely give you a surprise! We would like to thank all customers who given us the chance to serve you. We will maintain the quality of food and provide our best service to all customers. We will not stop improving in order to deliver what is best for you. We hope that all of you will return to the restaurant in the future and give us the chance to serve you again.

I am Thai food obsessed! I eat it all over the country, so I have alot of past experiences. The food was excellent and served quickly with very fresh tastes. The soup was hot and tasty, but the cup was small for 5.00. My husband ordered veggie Pad Thai, which looked more like a side order and small at 12.95.... More

Really enjoyed our meals here. Very nice staff, fun environment, very good food that tasted like it was made from fresh ingredients. They did an excellent job catering to my gluten intolerance and tomato allergies which is always to be commended. The only issue was that our table bounced a lot every time someone walked by - very annoying. It... More

The Thai food here is excellent. The outside of the building looks like it's been abandoned but I encourage you to go in if you're looking for some really good and authentic Thai food. Reasonable prices, nice ambience inside.

We were staying at the Hilton and looking for a restaurant we could walk to. Very easy walk to Thai Rak Thai. Also recommended by a relative who lives in Scranton. Going to a Thai restaurant was a new experience for us and a little out of my comfort zone. But no worries, I found several things I wanted to... More

Lovely meal - bright assertive flavors that one would be happy to get in NYC or LA. Staff were charming and helpful but did not get in the way. Highly recommended.

We took a trip to the Lackawanna Coal Mine. When we're done we were starving. My husband insisted we try this place and I thought he was crazy....turns out I was 100% wrong. The staff are warm and friendly. They made us feel incredibly welcome and helped the kids decide what to get. Also, they were great with adjusting the... More

Can't go wrong with the drunken noodles here!! Literally no where else can compare! They have a fun atmosphere and love when there is a birthday there ! Disco ball and singing! The staff is always walking around and refilling your glass. It's byob so you can bring a bottle of your favorite wine or beer. I don't have enough... More

We love the food at Thai Rak Thai but the atmosphere is even better. Everyone is welcoming and if you're having a birthday party they sing and bang pots for your enjoyment. You gotta try this place!
