Food was excellent, service was fine, atmosphere was great, wine lis is good. Only complaint is that the wine glasses they use do not compliment the fine wines served. Too bad, next time I go it will be wine by the glass or no wine instead of a fine bottle.

The old-world train station atmosphere was elegant, the service impeccable, and the food sublime! We had dinner on a Saturday evening, and everything our party of four ordered was first-rate, from drinks beforehand to soup, entrees and desserts. The entire waitstaff -- from our excellent waiter to the food runners and water-fillers -- were so good, I felt like I... More

I'll start by saying the atmosphere is exceptional. The Lackawanna Station is such a beautiful historic building. There's such detail in the stained glass, marble and fountains. The buffet is setup in the center and the tables are spaced nicely, so there are no issues getting around with a plate. Sunday brunch had so many selections anyone could find something... More

Just entering the Lackawanna Station Hotel is dramatic. There are a few buildings in Scranton that are so recognizable from old pictures, this one because of it's size, beauty, and stature. It represents such an important time in Scranton's history, that of the steam railroads when Scranton was in it's heyday. Walking in and looking around at the super-high ceilings,... More

The location is amazing and that is the best thing about Sunday brunch. There was a good selection of food, but a lot of it was cold when it should be warm. The eggs benedict had been sitting for awhile and that is one thing I like very fresh. I could not cut the English muffin and gave up. The... More

Wound up here on a Sunday morning. Decided to have the brunch even though it was a bit more than I wanted to spend. Had other colleagues talk the place up, so I gave it a go. Nothing I had was bad, but not good enough to justify the nearly $30 cost at this writing. Eggs Benedict just shouldn't be... More

After waiting an eternity to go here for the Sunday brunch I was disappointed. The eggs benedicts had been sitting for sometime. For the price they should have a better grade of meat than sirloin. Also, the meat was cold. Also, a small thing but they should warm there plates. The coffee was very strong. The soup was the best of all... More

and I don't think I'll be there again. The food was average and the service was "up and down." The average cost of a meal and drinks is almost $100. I can think of better places to spend that kind of money. On a Friday night the crowd was very light. To sum it up, average food at a high... More

If you are in the area, you should eat there at least once. Place looks great in this old train station building and you feel yourself a part of the history. Menu has a lot of variety even not all the dishes are equally good. Service was one of the best with a lot of inside in the meals, wines,... More
