This is a sort of joint review, as I'm also including my wife's and niece's less-than-favorable comments along with my own more positive take. My wife's been here twice while traveling to and from New York City, and not liked it either time; my niece has been here three times (I think she said) also while traveling, and been more... More

My wife and I stopped after midnight for a bite. We were seated quickly because there was not a lot of people at this time of night. Very friendly women seated us and took our order. Highly recommend! Great menu & great food!

Often times a crowded parking lot, is a good indication of a good restraint, this is no exception. The food is homemade styled, quick, hot and plentiful. There's plenty of space to accommodate the potential customers. Service was quick and the price was good. It's sandwiched between two rival national chained types; but the parking lot shows which is the... More

I'm a native of this area but had never been here. Because theme- and chain-restaurants, fast-food joints, and specialty food places (Chinese, Italian, etc.) dominate this incredibly congested retail area, I decided to give a "Mom and Pop" "diner" a try. I paid $5.00 for a "side salad" consisting of a few leaves of lettuce, four crouton-size tomato cubes, and... More

Difficult to get to from the direction I was coming, but worth the visit. Grabbed an excellent omelet and chocolate chip pancakes to go, and added some cinnamon rolls to boot. Reasonably price, too.

needs to be torched and rebuilt. Lost in the 70's. Food was okay, but place old and run down. Had these neat game machines at every table. Not really necessary in today's smartphone app crazy world, but very old school.

Holy Smokes sooooo good!!! We are lucky enough to have needed to stop for gas & passed this diner at dinner time. So good seriously beyond! Do yourself a favor and make it a point to go here on your visit! Server was a doll & diner was clean and everything you would expect a diner to be.

The portions are generous, I love their greek salad, let them put on the anchovies, even if you don't eat them they give the salad zest. The prices are reasonably and the service is good. Not a whole lot of atmosphere but who cares :).

Don't let my average, 3 rating deter you. This is a decent diner just a few minutes from the expressway, with decent food and portions. This is our second visit and we'll return again. Service was very fast. We were seated immediately and our order was taken promptly. We both had omelets, standard fare, but that is exactly what we... More

Went to the Viewmont Diner for breakfast on the weekend. Food was good, and the service is fast. From the time we ordered the food was on our table in 5 minutes. The wait staff is not very attentive, we got the check with the food. My husband's coffee was refilled twice yet my tea was ignored and I have... More
