Never disappointed

The quality of the food from the lamb , beef , chicken and tuna can not be compared to any competitor. The food is prepared with great attention to cleansiness and perfection in details that does not compete with any other. This matters to me and my family more than few dollars less. The owners... read more

I ate here once. Good enough food, more expensive than the competitor, City Cafe. I was with a group of about eight, and service was adequate but not great. The place is very popular though, so others have had a better experience.

Real, delicious Lebanese food in Scranton, who knew? A bit of a detour if passing through on I-81 but well worth it, just let your phone take you there.

Another great dinner at Savory Maza! Excellent service and fresh homemade Lebanese food. One of our favorite places.

I used to love this place but lately their stuffed meat grape leaves left a lot of meat to be desired. There was 90 percent rice in them. They seem to be skimping on the meat.Too bad since i've tasted other restaurants/diners that had more than enough meat in the meat-chosen leaves.

Truly authentic Lebanese cuisine . Kitchen is super clean and best quality of meats. My new favorite is the Tuna kabobs that they have only on Fridays and Saturdays. I am Lebanese and know the food well and the Chef cooks better meals than the ones I had back in the old country. We go there every week because it... More

When my husband and I walked in the staff was eating at the bar and was not too happy to be interrupted. The Lentil soup was watered down. They never gave us pita bread after I even asked for it. Our waitress instead chose to talk to her friends about how broke she was. The grape leaves had no taste... More

I was on vacation seeing my aunt in Scranton and she suggested going to the Savory Maza. WoW! I haven't had Lebanese food this good since my mother passed away. They had wonderful service and the owners even came out and visited with us. Reservations are a must as they just keep getting busier and busier. According to my aunt,... More

Savory Maza is a family owned and run business, everything is hand-made. Therefore, it may be hard to get a seat and reservations are preferred. However, the food is delicious. I grew up in a Lebanese family and this is the only Lebanese restaurant I have eaten at where I love the food, because it tastes homemade and not manufactured.... More

We don't have a lot of unique international cuisine in this area so it's nice to have something different for a change. 2 of us dined here last night and both the food and service were very good. My husband had the Tour of Lebanon and he really enjoyed everything and loved the variety. We also had the hummus -... More
