I reviewed this place 2 years ago and gave it a 4 due to somewhat slow service. We've since been back multiple times, the latest being this last Saturday, and I was just as impressed with the food plus the service was excellent. Two of our party had the mussels special and they were crooning about how good it was.... More

We very much enjoyed our dinners here. Simply but well done food. I can see why people like it there. I'd go back!

My wife & I ordered the Chicken Marsala for dinner. It came with a vegetable and one small round potato cut in half……I mean very small. This was our third time at this restaurant and the first time we both left disappointed and not completely full. Number one, we felt the portions this time around were very skimpy. I mean... More

All had outstanding food with 8 people eating 7 different dishes covering a wide range of food types thoroughly enjoyed at this authentic, family owned, Italian eatery. The family serve the customers with professionalism accompanied by polite friendliness and helpful assistance navigating a diverse menu with their real Italian accents. Seafood, pasta, chicken, all excellent. Desserts were also outstanding. As... More

Cannot wait to return!!! We had a small party of 17 at Sambuca Grille this week, and it was just perfect! The cozy bar and private dining room are elegant and yet homey at the same time. The appetizers were wonderful with 2 kinds of calamari to choose from, fresh delicious slice portabella mushrooms and silky mozzarella and tomatoes. Guests... More

Not sure what to say other than our dinner for five on a Tues evening was perfect. The dinner room is on the smaller size and darkly lit which I found to make for a cozy atmosphere. The service was great and all of our food was out of this world. Again not sure what else I can add other... More

My wife and I dropped in for Friday dinner. The place is very cozy and just half a block from The Times Building on Penn Ave. The martinis were superb and the Heinekens were fresh. The Caesar salad was well done. Crisp and fresh, with anchovies, and not over dressed. My wife loved her chicken puttanesca, and my veal Sambuca... More

It doesn't look like much from the outside but it's cute and cozy inside. We had a bottle of wine at a decent price and started with the Mozzarella with red pepper and tomato. It was very good. For dinner, my husband ordered the Ravioli with shrimp and garlic. It had a delicious sauce and he loved the whole dish.... More
