My old stand by for mexican food

Have been dining here since I was a senior in high school many years ago. Back then it was about half the size with a walk up counter and about a dozen booths. Drinks are good, food is good as well as portion size. Get take out from here quite often.

Unfortunately I don't live near Casa De Nana as I would be eating here more often. I like the food here very much. The food here is substantial and meaty. I can vouch for the tacos, the chili rellenos, the burritos, the chimichangas, the quesadillas and their salsa. The service has been good everytime I have been here.

The last two times here, yesterday Sept.15,2015 and about a month ago were the same. Stale Taco Shells...I don't think they even heat them up anymore.... Hardly any lettuce or tomatoes. Is this because of Taco Tuesday BOGO deal.....It should not be. make a nice Taco so people will come back.. I actually was a little sick this time around. I... More

Springfield is not, that I know of, home to any great Mexican restaurants now that Mama Iguana is gone. Casa de Nana has good and bad points. On the good side, the salsa was crisp and tasty, my Long Island Ice Tea was made right, and the refried beans on my platter were good. My chimichanga, however, was not crisp,... More

Tuesday Casa de Nana is your place for a great margueritta and buy one get one taco. Friendly wait staff, great bartender with consistency throughout restaurant for drinks & food on each visit. For a special salad, try their Taco Shell salad bowl and some blackened shrimp. Last visit had the blackened shrimp fajitas. EXCELLENT! Plus with 6 $20+ visits,... More

Food is still Excellent! Blackened Shrimp taco salad is very good. Chips and salsa are better for you at Casa de Nana because the chips are not salty and the salsa has green peppers and is a home made version not from a jar.

My family and I used to eat here when I was a kid growing up but as I went away to college we forgot about it until recently. We have now gone three times in the past year or so. The food and drinks are great and very affordable. They do offer a Taco Tuesday special and the restaurant is... More

I'm going to start by saying the food is decent. The serving size is pretty big. I would never recommend you order for carry out though. I've ordered out 3 separate times and 2 out of 3 times they messed up my order. The first time they forgot my dessert, which is kind of a big deal considering I have... More

This restaurant is an old time favorite for Mexican cuisine. They have been in business for years, and the quality of food never dissapoints. Very authentic with nice portions. They also serve several speciality drinks. Although the place is in need of a make over, you go for the food.

I started eating at this location in 1976 right after I got my drivers license. Stopped there the other day for auld lang syne. Big mistake. The quality of the food was average at best. In fact, it pretty much sucked. Big disappointment.
