I really enjoy the unsalted salsa chips, you get to enjoy the homemade style salsa's flavor. The blackened shrimp salad is a favorite, also they have good buy one get one taco Tuesdays.

Great local establishment. Fresh homemade food and delicious margaritas. Staff is friendly and attentive. We always stop when we're in the area.

This place should really have a higher ranking. I think the only reason it doesn't is because it's a hole in the wall and easily missed when driving by. People just don't know what kind of gem they have in the city. It took me YEARS to find out about it after moving to the area. The food is so... More

First time coming to this restaurant was in 2003. From what I recall, I really liked the the food however this time around not so much. There was a weird smell walking into the restaurant which immediately threw me off. Blackened seasoned fajitas were okay. The green pepper and steak pieces were chopped way too big. I ended up having... More

I went with a friend for margaritas and appetizers. Both food and drink were just what we wanted. Wait staff was friendly and helpful.

I've been there two times for the last 7 years. My second time this September just confirmed my opinion that this is one of the worst places I've ever been. I will prefer to eat on a concession stand and will expect more from them than that place. I am really surprised how that restaurant was not closed by the... More

Absolutely horrible food without any flavor. The tortillas are like cardboard. The salsa looks like tomato paste. The chicken in my dinner was so dry I couldn't swallow it. The beans and rice were not edible. Very disappointed. The restaurant was very good 20 years ago. Don't waste your money

The restaurant is kind of a scruffy Mex-motif located on Route 20 in Springfield. It's been around since the 1960's, since before tex-mex was trendy. They provide a huge amount of food for a very reasonable price. We first ordered nachos with ranchero sauce. The sauce, we felt, didn't do anything for the nachos. It was a very tomatoey sauce...
