This market/restaurant has a huge selection of prepared foods to eat in or take out. I drive 45 minutes one way from CT to bring home entrees ranging from outstanding eggplant parmesan to amazing crab cakes and everything in between. Steak tips, chicken dishes, stuffed breads, pizza slices, wonderful cheeses, fresh bread, butcher case with stuffed roasts and unbelievable homemade... More

Great take-out. Menu like no other locally. Friendly staff. I buy gift cards for others; perfect for all holidays and birthdays.

One of the best places in the state to get Italian subs and delicacies. The menu is huge and all of the options are delicious. If you are heading down the Mass Pike and looking for a place to have lunch, it is worth the extra couple minutes off the highway.

Been coming here for years and have never been disappointed! The food is always delicious and the sandwiches are superb and made fresh to order. Staff is always attentive and friendly. A must try is the hot sausage sub ( Italy's Own), or even just some sausages alone to grill up at home. They are homemade and in my opinion... More

Frigo's is by far one of the best deli's I've ever been to. The food is good. Really good. Almost too good. You will wait for your order in front of the prepared foods case and will add on at least one extra thing, like a mozzarella stick, or some pasta salad. You will tell yourself that you'll save it... I called ahead to avoid the wait and it did no good. Although food was ready when I arrived it was not what I had ordered. All three meals had issues. It was a mess. One of the meals was a salad without mushrooms (allergy) and they put a jar mixture of olives, peppers and mushrooms on the salad. The... More

Driving north to Vermont we found Frigo's just off I-91. Incredible selection of Italian specialties, pastas, eggplant, cutlets and enormous sandwiches. Loved the antipasto. It is on a quiet street so dining outside was perfect. Staff is friendly and quick to complete your order. We had to do some negotiating to use the bathrooms. If you are on a journey... More

Frigo's is the most extensive of the dwindling breed of gourmet food shops in greater Springfield, with a main store in the old South End and a branch in East Longmeadow, my most recent visit. The chalkboard is filled with over 20 recommended sandwich combinations of excellent meats, cheese and toppings, and it is always possible to request a combo... More
