Arrived around 7:00 on a Friday night and had only about a 10-minute wait for a table. The place is small so you'll be sitting close to the next table but it's not annoyingly close. Fortunately, we had read the reviews so we knew it is a BYO place. We had the calamari for an appetizer and it was just... More

My wife and I went a little out of our way to try this, based on the very positive reviews. We weren't disappointed. We went for lunch. From the outside, it is pretty nondescript part of a block, away from the Springfield downtown. Don't let that chase you away - the inside is small but cute, and when we were... More

Top shelf stuff here. Last night we revisited Chef Wayne's Big Mamou for dinner and without a doubt it is a fantastic meal. One of my companions state the meal was tasty since it has "Layers of flavors." And that describes all of the meals. The blending of spices and herbs with sauces, meats and side are just perfect. You... More

After seeing that this was rated #1 on several sites we were excited to try this restaurant. We were just staying one night as we are traveling around MA. The restaurant was very crowded when we first arrives but it only took 15 minutes to get a table. The seating is very close together so it is difficult to get... More

The food was totally delicious. We started with the jerk chicken and the Bourbon street cheese bread apps, then I got the blackened steak tips and my husband got shrimp and sausage jambalya, both were " lick the plate" good! The service was good, the atmosphere was friendly and the evening was fun. We will be back again.

Thender thigh jerk chicken appetizer had the most amazing robust flavor, perfect amount of heat and served with black bean, corn and tamato!! The blackened steak tips were cooked perfectly and beyond tasty! The mouthwatering pork meatballs with a tomato gravy served over penne didn't dissapoint!!Our servers were on point and worked together as a team - no complaints :)... More

We read the reviews and decided to give the restaurant a try as we would be in the area for a couple days. Wow- the variety was hard to make choice- We both love good blackened foods so I choose the blackened catfish and my husband the blackened sirloin tips- both came with jambalaya- It was the most fantastic catfish... The food here is absolutely unbelievable! I've been to Louisiana, and the food here is just as good as what you can get there. I've yet to find anything on the menu I haven't liked!
