I go for the atmosphere and the Texas Tea, which is Theodore's version of a Long Island Iced tea. I take my family and we have a great time talking if a band isn't on stage. If a band is playing, we eventually give up talking, enjoy the music, and have our innards rattled by the sound. Our family motto,... More

Great Service.... but being from Texas the BBQ was just mehhh. Had the baby backs as recommended, lots of food but just not as good as some places fron home. Would return because it was decent food just didnt live up to the hype.

I love trying BBQ joints when I travel but never thought I would find a gem like this in Massachusetts! Excellent food, perfect portions and a great wait staff to boot. I picked the ribs and hot links, others had pulled pork. Not a bad selection anywhere. The side were typical BBQ fare and the corn bread was almost like... More

I thought the food would have been something special from the rave reviews I had read on tripadvisor, but it's regular bbq, no different from any other BBQ place I have been.

For a BBQ in the city, I felt like I was in North Carolina! The beef briskest was so tender and tasty and the ribs are to die for! The ribs were meaty and tender with great smokey flavor. Their sides were really great too. The garlic mashed potatoes were perfect and the collard greens had great flavor( not bitter).... More

Theodores has good barbecue and decent bar food. It is a great bar and often has really good music, the Blues being my favorite. This is a fun place to go with a group to hear music and have a good meal.

We stopped in here on a Friday night. It's a sort of dark place with a friendly competent staff. They have the classic selection of meats. We had the pulled pork and the brisket. The brisket was much better than the pulled pork. They had some nice sauces to mix some sweet some spicy but not super hot. The sides... More

We were skeptical when we first saw the outside, but were pleasantly surprised when we went in.It was a comfortable but older restaurant with good food and good service.

We tried the pulled pork and the brisket this last Saturday night and both were very good BBQ. We both agreed that the Brisket was a bit better than the pulled pork but both were good. There is no way you could leave here hungry. You get sides and cornbread with your meals so this place is a very good... More
