Great place to hang out for an afternoon in the rain. Tasty brew. They don't make food there but we ordered pizza and had it delivered within 35 minutes. Enjoyable. We walked from National park. Sitka is very walk friendly.

A good place for a locally made beer with many selections. Service friendly. Food mainly pizza. About 1 mile from town center.

We like to walk and it's not too long of a walk from downtown. We walked from downtown on Lincoln Street towards Crescent Harbor past the Russian Bishop's House, past Sheldon Jackson, past the Fish Hatchery, into Sitka National Historical Park, past the museum where Totem Pole carver extraordinaire Tommy Joseph might be busy carving away, through the beautiful forested... The young brewmasters are enthusiastic and talented. Take a cab or rent a car for the trip out here. Located in an industrial park with good beers.

PROs: great beer, friendly staff, clean pub feel CONs: limited food, limited hours, industrial zone location The days/times they have pizza by the slice (good bargain).

After a walk to the Raptor Center and Totem Pole Park, we found this delightful brew pub, and it was worth the walk!! We started with a flight of 5 beers, and they were all good, but I really liked the stout. I ordered a pint of it to go along with the soup and bread, which both hit the... More

After spending the morning at the Sitka National Park, we made the short hike (1 mi) from the Indian River site to Baranof Island Brewing Company. We enjoyed a few flights of beer samples and a few pints of the ones we liked. The beer was pretty good. The food was alright. The pizza was good but it was take-out... More

We had sampled a couple of the beers at The Pub so it was fun to visit the brewery. Beware, the food is fairly limited. However, we had the salmon spread and crackers. It was great and the beer is excellent!

Loved their beers. The stout, the brown and the IPA are all excellent quality beers. They don't serve food (they have pre-cooked pizza slices you can munch on), but that isn't why you go. It is a little out of the way - I walked through the Totem Park and then I took the bus back to downtown ($2). The... More

Sandwiches blah. Soup okay. Homemade fries or chips would be better than store bought. Menu could be jazzed up some to be more like a gastro pub element. Food needs more thought even if a brewery.
