Great food

We got the clams, "Irish potatoes", and bacon-wrapped scallop pasta. I usually hate ordering pasta dishes because its usually better to cook at home, but this was fantastic and worth it. The Irish potatoes were a great starter. My only complaint is that there wasn't more of it! The clams were... read more

The patio seating is super nice when the weather is sunny! They also have the best prime rib (a weekly special) I've ever tasted!

We ate at the Fly-In Fish In one night and decided to go back the next evening. Hours on the door said they were open but they were not. Limited hours of availability anyway so was not impressed they weren't even open when they were supposed to be.

This restaurant is hidden within a hotel/motel so you would easily pass it by but if you are visiting a local they will know where it is. It's a clean and cozy place and the chef will probably come out and say hi. Fish and chips (with halibut of course) is very good. Went back for breakfast and it was... More

This time of year the great view is "lost" in the dark, but the pizza (Tuesday/Thursday special) is still a high point. Thin crust, they have all the usual and some very unusual toppings.

I posted a review in July of this year regarding the Fly Inn, apparently not to the liking of the owner and manager. I am quite disturbed in seeing a response from management. I think their response speaks to the way they conduct business. I am extremely dismayed that these folks would use an employees name in a patron's review... More

I visited this restaurant several times last year and was extremely happy with the service and food. In the early spring I visited and all was still well, but something happened after March or April that entirely changed the dining experience there. The food was always fairly expensive, but it was well worth it. Now the food no longer meets... More

We stopped here for breakfast. The charming dining room has a view of the bay, service was good, coffee was strong & the breakfast was delicious, if expensive (but all the food in Sitka seemed to be on the pricey side)

The food has become borderline excellent with the new chef! The wine list is forgettable. The service is better the second time we went. But the food is great! The fish entries have been the best in Sitka consistently. The venue is unassuming and loud. The food is soo good I recommend reservations. Reservations were never needed in the last!... More
