We've eaten just about everywhere in Sitka and the Channel Club is our favorite. The atmosphere is hip, fresh and quite sophisticated for a small Alaskan town. There's a great view of Sitka Sound and the shuttle was busy bringing groups from local fishing lodges. It was fun to have a soup and salad bar. I added the yummy steak tacos... More

Creative, well-cooked, but over-salted fresh local fish. Great little salad bar considering veggies have to be barged in to Sitka. Convenient access from our B&B via complementary shuttle.

We were in Sitka just one night, staying at a B&B outside of downtown, with no transportation. The Channel Club has a complimentary shuttle so we chose to have dinner there. It's further out of town than we were! A lovely golden retriever greeted us at the front porch. The food and the service were excellent and the decor was... More

Having enjoyed dining here for many years, but never reviewed it. This is a super restaurant with lots of options both seafood and steaks, etc.. A great salad bar, good wine and drinks and great location overlooking Sitka Bay. A bit $$$ but recommend it!

Pretty High priced for decent, but not unbelievable food. Nice décor. Nice view.....Nice dining local, little overrated.

We had delicious filet mignons and a ribeye, they melted in your mouth and cut like butter. The fried calamari was disappointing though, they weren't calamari, I can tell you.. it was more like limp half cooked fish sticks, yuck! But the crab cakes were pretty good, the wine and drinks were good. And the view is breathtaking. You have... More

This was an exquisite meal, great ambiance/scenic view & terrific service. Our was waitress was Shelby...well done! The true kicker, the aging Golden Retriever that greets you at the door. Since I was missing my four dogs at home, I needed a "dog-fix." We had just gotten into Sitka after a VERY long day of flights. Our son had heard... More

Nice restaurant, located about three miles from downtown Sitka on Halibut Point Road with good ambience and a view of Sitka Sound. The Aloha Friday Cocktail was a real winner and the crab cakes were divine, certainly the very best we ever had! My husband had very good battered halibut, I chose that days' special, halibut cheeks; also very tasty,... More

Higher end restaurant for Sitka, AK, about 3 miles North up the coast from town. Excellent food, but also pricey - entrees from $25 to $35, and higher. Fresh catch-of-the-day, of course. Two of us had the King Salmon which was wonderful. I didn't care for the risotto, though. Highlight for my wife was the Alaska King Crab legs -... More

It is quite far from Sitka downtown, but they have a shuttle to come pick you up no charge, which is great. They have some really specialty fish and steak dishes which are well done, delicious and seasonal. The entrees come with their soup and salad bar which is really good. I didn't order an appetizer since we had the... More
