My husband and I went to A Moment to Remember for dinner last week on a weekend trip. We liked the German theme, from the German wines and beers to the desserts. The food was good, and the desserts were excellent- I recommend the apple strudel! We thoroughly enjoyed finding a little taste of Germany in a small town. more

We went here for chai tea and a mocha ... both were terrible! The chai was from a powder and too sweet. I asked for it extra hot and it was barely warn. The mocha had minimal chocolate in it. There were 3 people behind the counter and only one person was working. The place is beautiful on the inside... more

Me and my girlfriend traveled to Luray to see caverns and the Shenandoah wine trail, and we stopped into this amazing restaurant for breakfast. We were greeted by the friendly staff as we entered, and got to choose where we sat. The restaurant was very clean and someone spent a lot of time decorating the place. I had a Virginia... more

The food isn't very good, and it's overpriced. The owner is nice. We didn't have dessert or coffee, so the rating is N/A to those. more

We were a party of 6, and went there for lunch..on a friday afternoon.. in our party 3 of us ate the same thing, potato salad. The next day I thought I was coming down with a stomach virus, that only got worse as the day went on..then I found out that the two other people who ate the same... more

My family was excited to have a German dinner and were NOT disappointed by "A Moment To Remember"! The ambiance was excellent, service great, and the owner, John, was so welcoming and nice. We will definitely return to this establishment. A wonderful experience for the 6 of us. The Venemas and Andrews' State College, PA and Harrisburg, PA respectively more

We have just returned from dinner and we were very pleased with both the service and the food. Being Northern Virginia transplants, we know good food and good service. The wait staff was attentive and the owners are involved in the operation of the restaurant. The husband works the floor and the wife cooks. Her specialty is German dishes, so... more

We were looking forward to eating dinner at this place but, sadly, no one took our order. After being seated, we sat there for over 20 minutes without any acknowledgement at all. No water. No quick check in from our server. Nothing. Sad to say we walked out because if we were waiting that long to just get something to... more

It's actually more like a cafe/coffee bar that they convert to a restaurant at night. The ambiance is a bit strange given that, but we didn't feel out of place dressed in business casual. The food was pretty good, even though the menu had 3 mains and 2-3 appetizers. The food did have a German flare to it but it... more
