When we walked in the door we were almost knocked over by smoke in the dining area. I dunno if the exhaust fan was malfunctioning or if they had really burnt something. I ordered the Gnocci with meat sauce and my wife had a Calzone. The food was great! But.... The only waitress they had was new and was being... More

We were visiting Luray Caverns and decided to stop and have a quick lunch, amazing! Very small restaurant with a very laid back atmosphere, waitress and cook were very friendly and the calzones were the best I have ever had. The dough is absolutely delicious! I would eat here all the time if I could!

I put in an order. They told me 30 to 35 minutes. I call at an hour asking where my order was on a Sunday at 9pm. I explained to the owner my order was to be delivered over 25 minutes ago. He says hold on and hands me to an employee without even a word to me. She tells... More

We were staying at the Mimslyn across the street and popped in for a pizza. Honestly, I really didn't expect too much, and that's why this place was such as nice surprise. The pizza we had was excellent! Another review that I read used the expression "hit the spot" and that is exactly how I would describe our experience there.... More

Great pizza. Was surprised to find it in Luray. I would order from them again if I'm in that area of town. Overall Great Meal.

Calzone was awesome. The "small" was enough for two. Lasagna was very tasty. Waitress was friendly and attentive. What more can you ask for?

Gennaro's Pizza has great food. From pizza to sandwiches to entrees. Sometimes the staff can be a little slow, but I believe with time, they can improve this. I would recommend updating the inside of the building. It has potential to be a really cute Italian restaurant, but it still feels like the old Tastee Freez when I walk in... More

by looking at the other reviews, I guess it depends on what day you go there. I'm sort of a pizza snob having grown up in the north with Italian friends and I thought the pizza was pretty good, at least that day :) Our waitress was friendly and service was quick.

If you are a restaurant snob, don't even go. For a small Italian diner, it doesn't okay job. It is a casual and comfortable atmosphere. You don't have to worry about dressing up. You can bring your kids and not worry about them sitting up straight. The food was okay and the waitress was helpful and enthusiastic.

My husband and i are on our honeymoon in a cabin in Luray for 4days. We came here on our first day for dinner and have eaten every meal here while on our honeymoon. The Brooklyn pizza is absolutely amazing. We've tried.... Margarita pizza, cheese steak sub, spaghetti with meatballs, baked ravioli with vodka sauce, the special roll, fried mushrooms and calimari....
