Brilliant

This place is a gem. We stopped by for some coffee before we headed back to Charlottesville. The barista and even the other patrons were very nice and helpful. The drink was amazing and so was the pie. If I happen to be in Luray again I will stop by, if you are in Luray, you need to stop in.

Loved the food, service and old time fixtures from the hardware store, although they are about to move across the street to an alternative locations. Lots of home made goodies.

Went to this restaurant while visiting Luray Caverns. Good option to eat some sanwiches and soup. No other food items offered at the time. The lemon pie was excellent. Very good and amicable service.

We stopped in for a tea and muffin, needing time to get caught up on our emails after a day on the road and a quick visit to the fun store across the street, Hunt and Peck.. Service was great, atmosphere really fun! Would have done lunch, but the timing wasn't right. Menu looked very good!

My wife and I ate here as soon as we arrived in Luray and liked it so much that we went back for lunch again the next day. Sandwiches, soups and salads were all tasty, and the German chocolate pie hit the spot. You can buy beer and wine here, though it's not open late. Highly recommend.

We were looking so forward to enjoying a leisurely late Sunday afternoon lunch, after looking for wildlife at Shenandoah National Park, we were quite ready! Sadly, we were met with a closed sign. We have been there twice before, and really enjoyed it, so we were disappointed, settled for somewhere else that turned out as a fiasco....Hope to try again... More

We were exploring Luray while vacationing at Massanutten Resort in Virginia. Luray is about 40 minutes from Massanutten. On Main Street we visited this restaurant a year ago and decided to try it again. The second time was just as good as the first! My husband had a huge onion bagel with cream cheese and coffee and I had 1/2... More

Fascinating facility; great food and service! Seven of us, ages 18 months to grandparents, recently had lunch in this fascinating café on the main street in Luray. We read that the building was previously an old hardware store, and that fits; one wall is fronted with glass enclosed shelves and multiple oak drawers that may have held small parts. The... More
