Nice sandwich shop

We seated immediately and the waitress was very attentive. The menu had a lot of choices healthy and not so, but plentiful! The sweet tea is good or probably I should say very good, not better, and just the right amount of sweet. I really liked the chicken salad sandwich, and the tuna salad was... read more

I had the chicken sandwich and my daughter had the portabello sandwich with fries. The view was nice and the food was ok. They had a buffet, but I felt it was too pricey $14 for lunch and did not care for the selections. Fried chicken, mac&cheese, baked beans, lunchmeat for sandwiches, and salad.

This was a first time to the new location. Love the new larger space and decor. I do however wish they would expand their menu. As a local, I am tired of the same things. I thought the new site would bring new and fresh items to the menu. Someone mentioned fries...I never saw them on the menu. Food is... More

I've eaten at their old location and their new location (across the street). Nice décor, limited menu, pleasant staff, too pricey. I had the veggie burger, which was colorful and tasteful. I asked if I could substitute French fries as my side, rather than the one listed on the menu and was told 'no problem.' I was charged 2.50 for... More

Good menu, using real ingredients. Snacks, as well as full meals available. Staff were really helpful and provided excellent service. We liked it so much we returned several times including using their take away service.

Gathering Grounds has moved to their new location across the street. They have more room and the place looks great. The food was good and the service was fast and friendly. I think the prices are a little high. I had a "SMALL" chocolate peanut butter Frappuccino and it was $3.95. My chicken salad croissant was good but not the... More

Greeted by a friendly staff, my husband and I chose a table to sit so we could watch people walk by. We both ordered the tomato with basal soup. Ohhhhhhhh sooooooo good! He ordered the turkey sandwich. It was sliced from a turkey breast and not just that pressed stuff. I ordered the chicken salad. Ohhh, I thought about my... More

Glad we got to eat in the old space before they move up the street. Love the decor! We had dinner here (sandwiches) and it was a relaxing end to our day. The service is good, the food well-prepared and the ambiance is conducive to a nice chat.

They are the perfect little cafe! The store is decorated in a very kitchy manner, which I love. The staff was nice and welcoming and the food was fresh and delicious. If you are a peanut butter lover you must try the Peanut Butter Pie!! The next time we're in Luray we'll visit again!
