Great lunch menu and tasty sandwiches!

We were visiting Luray Caverns and grounds and were turned off by the pre-made, high dollar foods they had to offer. Found the Gathering Grounds on my Trip Advisor app. Was a great choice for a late lunch! We both had the Bordeaux turkey sandwich and hubby added a side salad. The sandwiches were... read more

My wife, 6 year old son and I enjoyed breakfast at this coffee/sandwich shop in the heart of downtown Luray during a planned Luray Caverns visit. They have a small menu but provide the standard eggs, breakfast sandwiches, croissant, coffee, etc. Our food was fresh, tasty and very reasonably priced. There were a number of locals even at 9:30am. Service... More

Great reviews on yelp pointed us to this lovely and cozy patisserie in an area that generally suffers from lack of decent healthy food. The menu is limited somewhat but sufficient to satisfy a healthy appetite after a long day of hiking in the Shenandoah. We started with fried green tomatoes and basil-tomato soup - both delicious, fresh tasting and... More

I wanted to thank Becky for assisting us in pie tastings and helping us organize all the pies for our wedding dessert table. This was my husbands favorite part of the wedding planning and was happy to have some influence over flavor selections. We had the Pecan Chocolate Chip (His number 1 favorite), Apple Crumble (his number 2 favorite), Blackberry,... More

Great place, scenic, real cafe. Drink a coffee and look at the mountains in a Parisian setting. Nice antiques as well.

Food was pretty good - our party loved the chicken salad and roast beef. Baked goods were a little dry (brownie bites/cookie! Service was slow. I would go back and try it again.

We came into town for better food options than the tourist fare available after touring the caverns. The coffee is good (we had ours iced). Service was attentive. The town's main street itself is kind of cute and the inside of the cafe was attractively decorated. The food selection was good and several healthy dishes. Several sandwiches/ options for a... Cute cafe, I wasn't expecting there to be a wait staff, but when we walked in and walked to the counter we were asked if we needed a seat. They did have to go cups, and made our orders to go. We sat while they were making them, and were asked a few times if we had been helped, which... More

We come here every time we are in town - best food in Luray, in terms of quality, portion size, variety, frequent specials, and value. Great decor and friendly service and dedicated owners make this place an A+

Stopped here after visiting the Luray Caverns. Pleasant decor and tasty sandwich menu. There were a couple errors in our service, but waitress was happy to fix.
