I enjoyed the food choices, the drinks, the service, and the prices at Mindi's Mexican Restaurant when visiting Luray, Va. One could tell it was a great place to eat because they were very busy, but they handled the crowd very well...there wasn't a long wait.Once seated, the food and drinks were served in a reasonably short period.

My boyfriend had eaten at this place and said it was good but after eating there he said there has to be new ownership. The food is literally awful. I agree with the one review who said the salsa wasn't salsa. The canned beans had dumped cheap cheese all over them and the rice tasted worse then any minute rice... More

This place is FOUL, FILTHY and the food is HORRIBLE, freezer burned vomit. If you want 'Americanized Mexican' as some people describe this 'cuisine', go to Taco Bell. Using 'Americanized' to apologize for this place is an insult to Americans! The restaurant inspections describe filth, food illegally prepared in homes, freezers choked with frost and broken down refrigerators at 47... More

FIRST OFF, this is not an authentic mexican restaurant AND they do not advertise to be so. If that's what you're looking for, then you set yourself. HOWEVER, their food is very delicious if you enjoy americanized mexican food.

HORRIBLE FOOD!! The "salsa" was taco sauce out of a bottle. The "seafood" burrito was canned shrimp & imitation crab warmed up & placed in an uncooked tortilla, no seasoning or sauce. The spanish rice was bland. The chicken enchiladas were flavorless as well!! The beans were kidney beans out of a can! Anyone who says that this is a... More

Actually I wouldn't feed that to my dog. Or my neighbors dog, that would be animal cruelty, even though their annoying and bark all night, they STILL don't deserve that cruelty.

Mindi's has been here probably 20 years. Nothing fancy just simple "american" mexican food. So if you’re looking for "authentic classic" Mexican or South American food pass Mindi's up, get off the 211 bypass and take 211 Business into town to Ranchero Mexican Restaurant. Mindi’s is a great little side of the road place with the standard Mexican dishes and... More

Did not meet expectations whatsoever! Some friends and I dined at Mindis and nobody was impressed. The atmosphere/conditions: The facility was very run down and has seen better days. The quality and flavor of the food and authenticity, very poor. I could have purchased the stuff and made all the dishes better myself. Examples, when I asked about the beef... More

I'd heard about Mindi's so decided to try it. I was a little disappointed with the food. It seems to me there are much better Mexican restaurants in the area. Prices were fine but the food was just okay. I might try it again just in case I caught them on an off night.

Been past here many times, never stopped because of timing. Finally decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised. I had white cheese dip (with jalapenos added) as appetizer. Then had a California burrito, not greasy, tasted great. To top it off had homemade strawberry pie, while not Mexican, who cares cause it was a great desert! Dealt... More
