We visit Luray on an intermittent basis, but when we do, we can always count on an enjoyable meal here. Service and food are always great, and you can't beat the price. Beware...this is probably the most popular restaurant in Luray, so it tends to be packed on Fridays and Saturdays for dinner. It is a big hit for family... More

The food was great and the service was outstanding! We had a great lunch here on the outside patio and enjoyed some joking around with other guests and the staff. Great choice for a great meal!

The food was great. Price was reasonable and the portions were not small. We were seated right away, food came out quickly expect the waitress never came back to ask us about another drink. Friendly staff otherwise.

Portions are huge. It wasn't the best Mexican food I've ever had (ordered a taco salad - just didn't have much flavor), but the friendly, attentive wait staff is what will bring me back to try something else. My drink was never empty, they brought extra napkins, kept our chips and salsa fresh, and consistently asked if there was anything... More

This was good mexican food with good service. The margaritas were huge, and terrific. Lots of locals eat here.

My boyfriend and I visited Luray in April/May 2014. We ate here our first night in Luray and loved it. We are from New York and thought Rancho Viejo was comparable to eating a tasty NYC Mexican meal. The next night in Luray we tried Uncle Bucks for dinner and were disappointed. Needless to say we the remainder of our... More

Great chips and salsa, very tasty fajitas and chimichangas. The onions in the fajita were perfectly carmelized, nice!

Great mexican food! The white dip they serve with their salsa and chips in incredible! I have been there over 20 times and have tried many dishes and all of them have been fantastic.

This Mexican restaurant is housed in a former McDonald's restaurant and across the street from a shopping center. There are other locations throughout VA. Food portions were HUGE, inexpensive (most under $10) and tasty. Service was efficient without being overly fussy. My Texas Salad was excellent with different grilled meats and succulent shrimp atop a large salad (no carb!). This... More

Always enjoy the food at Rancho Viejo. Atmosphere is very nice, even has a patio area. Occasionally has entertainment and specials on food and drinks.
