Good place with a wide selection. Good service and prices. A burger, cole-slaw and a beer were outstanding. Also nice history to the building.

I usually look at Tripadvisor before selecting where to eat dinner, but since this was lunchtime we just popped into the first place! Lucky us! We had sandwiches and they were excellent. The only reason I did not give this an "excellent" was we were not that impressed with the side dishes. Staff was fine. Would recommend for lunches, for... More

We found the Artisan Grill via tripadvisor and decided to check it out. We dinned on a Thursday evening around eight in the evening. The service was great and the food was served in a very timely manner. We sat upstairs as others recommended. However, the food was not very appetizing. The special, bbq pork loin was overcooked, which resulted... More

My wife and I ate hear twice in two days and loved it both times. The portion sizes were great and I loved the sandwiches. The only downside was the flies but hey it comes with the territory.

It had been some time since we had eaten lunch at Artisan's Grill. Happy to say, it was as good as ever. The selection of sandwiches is outstanding, as are the beer choices. Indeed, if you are staying in Shenandoah National Park, I would suggest having a sandwich for lunch at the grill, but taking half of it back to... More

Super friendly staff and really good food. What we ordered had big portions. There's an art gallery beside them that appears to be part of their business, but we didn't have time to visit that. Definitely check them out when in Luray.

Good place to have some food and local wine. The food was good but we ordered pretty basic items. The blackened catfish and burgers were good and the potato salad was delicious. Front of the house had some issues but our server was good.

First, let me state that I hate writing negative reviews. I always try to find positive elements, to provide some balance to the negative. In the visit to Artisan's Grill, we could find none. When we arrived, we had to wait, even though tables were available. Then, a couple behind us in line was seated, even though there was just... More

We apologize for your unsatisfactory experience at the Artisan's Grill. We strive to make each and every guest happy that walks through our door, I again apologize this did not happen with you. We were very short staffed in the front of the house and the back of the house on Saturday, with it being the holiday weekend, it was... More

Very good food. You'd like to sit in the upstairs, but the atmosphere anywhere in this restaurant isn't great. Could use some updates. Prices are reasonable, and they have a wine and beer list.
