Went on a busy Friday evening. It seemed the service staff couldn't agree who would be serving us which led to a lot of confusion. My wife ordered the salmon special, which came out as fish and chips, which wasn't even on the menu. Forgot the soup that was ordered. The food, when it did come, was a bit bland.... More

Had some wonderful rockfish with a Mediterranean salsa which was really good! my dining companion had a steak, but it looked overdone. Overall, it was a really nice evening; nice wine list too.

Nice dining choices are rather limited in town. We chose crab cakes and fish, both were excellent. Prices were somewhat higher than we would expect however. Choose a table upstairs rather than on the ground floor level if you can; it's quieter and nicer atmosphere.

Excellent food and service!! Home cooking with nice people. Enjoyed looking out the window sitting in the top section of the restaurant.

We went for lunch after visiting the caverns! They were very friendly and the food was tasty! We sat on the second floor and had a wonderful view. You could see the mountains at the distance.

The restaurant has an old-time feel to it. I especially loved the split staircase. The staff was very friendly and worked hard to accommodate us. The food was delicious.

The food was incredible! I don't know what more to say other than that. The staff was friendly and attentive. The prices were very fair. If you are looking for a place to eat in Luray, this would be my suggestion.

We visited this restaurant on Saturday for lunch. We enjoyed the atmosphere in this old building and the service was good. I had a chicken salad wrap, it was good, and the fries were good also. My husband had the buffalo chili and a barbecue sandwich. He enjoyed the chili but the barbecue sandwich had too much sweet sauce on... More

We had dinner here the first night of our trip. Interesting menu consisting of quite expensive entree options vs quite affordable sandwich options. We both ordered the veggie burger which was delicious. I had the potato salad side which I found to be bland as it was basically potatoes, mayo, and celery but my husband's fries were nice. We tried... More

Nice place with great lunch sandwiches at attractive prices. The Rembrandt sandwich featured a huge quantity of lean corned beef and the pulled pork was awesome. 2 minute drive from Luray Caverns and much nicer than the dining options there.
