Food was ok, kinda pricey Dirty bathrooms, I can't stand it, I the bathroom is dirty what does the kitchen look like. !!!!
The family-owned care and attention was obvious from the moment we walked in. Service was excellent and fast. Our meals were both very good. We had the veggie wrap and a portabello burger. The veggie wrap was great-tasting. The portabello was nicely cooked and the sauce was excellent. If you are looking for good food and good service, this is... More
slow night when we had dinner, - so maybe that made a difference. Food was bland, not a great choice. asked for baked potato - only had mashed potatoes and couldn't tell what was mixed in them. The only other starch was packaged "Mex-" rice. Would not go there again.
We stopped here for dinner in Luray. Big portions, but the food was just OK. Not bad but not great- reasonably priced.
Stopped in here for dinner Friday evening. My sandwich was pretty good, my wife stated her burger was very good. Service was prompt and excellent. The view from the 2nd floor dining room is very nice. I would recommend this place to friends.
We had high expectations for the Artisan Grill. The outside of the place has a nice feel to it and looked like it was going to provide a great experience. During our service we had multiple servers and seemed they were distracted about a large party coming in. My husband ordered the dinner special pork loin which he said was... More
We ordered dinner and drinks. The asparagus was hard and cold. He ordered the ribs--also cold. I ordered the artisans bistro steak--lukewarm at best. Butter did not melt on the baked potatoes and $12 for a chocolate martini is a bit ridiculous. Preferred the upstairs seating.
for the second time in two years we visited Luray and Stanley Virginia and again were treated to a wonderful meal at the Artisans Grill in downtown Luray...wonderful food as always and a peaceful atmosphere!!!!
Ask to sit upstairs for a nice view. There was a little trio band playing the Friday night we were there. Portions are large so you could share an entrée and app or salad and be full. Full bar with nice size 'pours'. Our server was great, attentive, engaging, fun. Made for a good experience. Would go back.
