It had been some time since we had eaten lunch at Artisan's Grill. Happy to say, it was as good as ever. The selection of sandwiches is outstanding, as are the beer choices. Indeed, if you are staying in Shenandoah National Park, I would suggest having a sandwich for lunch at the grill, but taking half of it back to... More

Super friendly staff and really good food. What we ordered had big portions. There's an art gallery beside them that appears to be part of their business, but we didn't have time to visit that. Definitely check them out when in Luray.

Good place to have some food and local wine. The food was good but we ordered pretty basic items. The blackened catfish and burgers were good and the potato salad was delicious. Front of the house had some issues but our server was good.

First, let me state that I hate writing negative reviews. I always try to find positive elements, to provide some balance to the negative. In the visit to Artisan's Grill, we could find none. When we arrived, we had to wait, even though tables were available. Then, a couple behind us in line was seated, even though there was just... More

We apologize for your unsatisfactory experience at the Artisan's Grill. We strive to make each and every guest happy that walks through our door, I again apologize this did not happen with you. We were very short staffed in the front of the house and the back of the house on Saturday, with it being the holiday weekend, it was... More

Very good food. You'd like to sit in the upstairs, but the atmosphere anywhere in this restaurant isn't great. Could use some updates. Prices are reasonable, and they have a wine and beer list.

Food was very good and the music made the environment that much better! Could have sat their all night listening to the music and drinking wine.

This place was recommended by our Innkeeper on a weekend getaway. I really wish we had gone somewhere else. The atmosphere is nice and the service is good, but that doesn't make up for the completely bland food. I had a crab cake with sauteed squash and zucchini and red potatoes. I could see seasoning on the food, but couldn't... More

I ate here with family and the name is deceiving. I thought would try the grilled veggie wrap and it was terrible. Raw, wet vegetables and completely unseasoned. I thought the sweet potato fries would be good but saw the freezer bag of them. The place was dirty and the staff inattentive. They were all eating and coughing behind the... More

We were not waited on for 10 minutes when first arriving at the restaurant and then the servers talked amongst themselves loudly in the restaurant about having to clean the bathrooms and what they were doing over the weekend. The was just OK and nothing special. The only positive thing to say was that they had a few different beers... More
