Great Country Cooking

Great Country cooking at an affordable price. Be careful of the hot wings as the mild are more spicy than typical. The atmosphere is relaxed and the dress is casual.

Having been to many caves these caverns are the largest and most impressive. Tour guide spoke a little fast and didn't always catch what she said. The group we were in was also too large. But if you are in this area they really are a must visit

We stopped here for a late lunch. There weren't many customers and yet well... yes. It took a while for anything and everything to happen. Really was disappointing I have to say. The food isn't really anything to write home about. The burger I had was ok. The chicken tenders one of my daughters had though. Wow! You could have... More

We ventured out into Luray while camping at Jellystone and ended up trying Uncle Buck's. The special for the night was Prime Rib so I decided to try it. I ordered Medium Rare and it was cooked well done. It tasted moreike a rump roast. It was chewy and Luke warm. They forgot my baked potato and the canned green... More

Fried green tomatoes are delicious. They give nice portion with a good selection. DO NOT ORDER THE BREAD PUTTING.

100% PERFECT. Stayed 3 nights in Luray and ate here 2 times. The food was INCREDIBLE and very reasonable! The BBQ pork was the best I have EVER had! The wait staff was super friendly. I just can't say enough about this place. It is a MUST eat at place for sure!!!!!

This is a cute clean restaurant. Food was good with many menu options. Good American fare. Service was slower but I find that the wait staff has been there awhile and are charming. It is the South where I expect things to go more slowly. The restaurant compensates with each table getting free corn muffins and apple butter...yum.

Our wait on our food was an hour (no joke) and the food came out at different times instead of all together. The steaks were well done instead of medium well. The baked potato was cold. The waitress was very nice and apologetic. I actually felt sorry for her. However, I would not recommend this restaurant.

Uncle Buck's restaurant was one of the best pIaces I have ever eaten. Everyone in my party enjoyed the experience as well. Our server Sally was awesome, warm and friendly. The cook was great. I loved my meal. It was delicious. The hostess Courtney was kind and made us all feel at home. I live all the way in DC... More
