We came here after a long hike for dinner. My friend got a bowl of the chili and said it was very hearty and flavorful. He was very happy with it. I had the house salad and it was good. Nothing exceptional, but just very good comfort foods. I would go back. Also, all of the staff was very friendly.

Went here for Sunday morning breakfast. Food was very good and the service fabulous. Everyone who works there was very nice. Classic small town diner feel and the food quality was excellent. I want to go back for dinner as there dinner menu looked fabulous.

We came to Luray whilst staying at Skyland in the NP. On arrival we weren't sure where to eat but some locals we asked recommended Uncle Bucks to us. It was a good recommendation - a huge menu to choose from and tasty food. the only slight grumble was that Mr TGB's mac'n'cheese could have been a bit warmer -... More

Stopped here around 8:30 pm. Ordered the fried chicken special and liver. Sides of corn fritters (pre breaded but still good), canned beans (ok), fried green tomatoes (best I have ever had - very light batter), & French onion soup (unremarkable). The liver was excellent as was the chicken. Menu is pretty extensive and they serve breakfast all day. Stays... More

Food was good and fresh. I had a burger while there. They had a great bar area too. The servers were friendly also.

We have eaten at Uncle Buck's on several occasions when we have been in Luray. We have never been disappointed. The food is hearty, home-made fare. The prices are reasonable. The servers are friendly. This trip we stopped in for a late lunch / early dinner (4:00 pm). They were not busy. We were seated right away. While we browsed... More

EXCELLENT food, and great waitstaff!!! Even though we had a group of 15, they pushed table together and seated us within minutes...lots of TVs for sports fans! Great beer on tap, and some VA beers too!

A mom and pop type diner with a decent breakfast. Food was good, not great. Service was prompt and location is right in Luray.

My daughter and I stopped in for a snack. Upon entry, one of the wait staff was venting some complaint to the hostess. When the hostess tried to help us, the venting waitress interrupted to continue her complaint. We finally were seated, got drinks and food. Our waitress was MIA for a while and we made the mistake of asking... More

The food here was great and averagely priced, but the wait for our food to arrive was a bit longer than average. We ate here twice and our 1st waitress, Shana, was so nice and pleasant. She was pregnant, but it didn't slow her down even though she'd been on her feet for hours. She was ready with a smile,... More
