Had dinner in the bar area. Lots of quirky signs on the walls which gave us a few laughs. The four of us shared crab-stuffed mushrooms with provolone, and a quesadilla, to stars. The mushrooms were delicious, and the quesadilla was pretty good too. The men ordered a full rack of ribs each. The serving size was huge, and we... More

Ate here for breakfast. Great portions, decent prices, cute antiquated décor, but the only server coughed a LOT when we inquired about the menu, and then continued to clean tables as such. I find it doubtful that her hands were washed when our food was brought. The dining room and check in/out stand are in separate rooms, and even though... More

But the food and service were great, I would go there again, this is a community with a strong connection to horse-racing, there are many photos on the walls. Nice spot.

We stopped by to eat dinner after a long day at Luray caverns. The special on the board was sirloin steak $9.99. We were very hungry and asked about the special right away. It turned out that is was a ground sirloin steak more like Salisbury steak. We ordered the pork chops instead. Our food took a long time to... More

Yes, sadly my nephews and nieces call me Uncle Buck so this was a given to eat at. It was clean, friendly and served ample American family food as really low prices. We could eat here daily and not try everything.

We were driving through the area and stopped there for lunch. Server was nice but slow. I ordered breakfast for lunch. Since the place serves breakfast all day long, I was excited to get if not an awesome, at least a warm breakfast. What I got was a cold plate. My eggs were cold, bacon dried up, my grits were... A local restaurant with a decent menu. Not particularly friendly - just matter of fact service. Horse theme. OK food.

We arrived at the restaurant after checking into our hotel and ordered dinner. The food was a good value for the price...generous portion sizes. The food was a little greasy, but you kind of expect that with an establishment like this. My wife ordered pasta....and what came out was a layer of mozzarella cheese melted over the pasta. I'm talking... More

after a long night of thunder storms and a lot of rain, the last thing I wanted to do this morning was cook breakfast in the campground so we loaded up the car and headed to Uncle Bucks. A family of 5 ate a big breakfast for <$30. The food was great and the atmosphere comforting. The wait was a... More

The service was good and the food was ok. My son and I both had chicken which was delicious; our side items were average. Many of the locals frequent there though so it's a great place to meet Luray town people to learn about the neat places to visit.
