Outdoors great food with a river view

Picnic tables undercover next the river, serving very tasty, well prepared food. Lemon ricotto pancakes hit the spot this morning.

The food is delicious and true California cuisine (not tourist fare). The setting is lovely especially on a cold winter's night with heat lamps, fire, and blankets all keeping us warm. The food is simple but everything is great. Salted Caramel chocolate pot du creme was "mindblowing" (quote attributed to the boyfriend). We were shocked at how inexpensive the total... More

We first stopped at Ol Buckaroo a year ago. We were on our way to Sequoia National Park when I first spotted the black truck. I was immediately intrigued! We stopped on our way back, met the awesome and friendly owners, and enjoyed a wonderful and delicious meal. Since, Ol Buckaroo has grown in both size and popularity! A must... More

We stayed in Three Rivers on our road trip and ate twice at Ol Buckaroo and were definitely not disappointed. Don't be disappointed by seeing the food cooked in a caravan - it was absolutely delicious. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the setting was wonderful - it was a great find! The food was of a high... More

We had dinner at the Ol Buckaroo last month. This is an outdoor restaurant and the setting is beautiful. We each had a burger and the burgers were excellent. We will definitely return and recommend you give them a try too.

What a relief to find this place in Three Rivers. It's the only good restaurant in town. We would have eaten there everyday if they weren't closed on Tuesday's and Wednesdays. Fresh food with vegetarian options. Friendly, happy staff and a fantastic atmosphere.

Had dinner at 530pm oct 10, 2015. Easy access great menu, high quality food, great service and average prices - $75 for dinner 2 adults 3 kids no alcohol. The kitchen is a food truck and the tables are set up by the river. Awesome location! By 730pm there was a huge line waiting to get in. Best place to... More

After heading here from Las Vegas and its artificiality, this was such a pleasant contrast, which we appreciated. Ol Buckaroo is a roadside café serving from a mobile catering van (though soon to be be in adjacent premises) with tables and chairs in the open by a brook, all nicely decorated and well laid out, with lights and music, a... I find it ridiculously cliché when people use the term "a hidden gem" when it comes to reviews on TripAdvisor. However, I honestly cannot think of a better way to describe this place. We stopped by the Ol' Buckaroo for breakfast after our stay at the Sequoia National Park. The only reason we even stopped there is because River View... More
