SERRANOS Mexican Restaurant, Three Rivers, CA Located in town, down river from our cabin. We ate dinner here 06.06.2011 on our journey to Fish Camp (at the south entrance to Yosemite). Note, We have a home in Baja Mexico. Warning, This was a Gringo / American version of Mexican food. BUT, Tasty and done well. Affordable and generous portions. Beer... More

If you manage your expectations before going to Serrano's, then you'll be fine. The food was ok, considering this is a place just off the road. Will it be the best Mexican food you ever had? No, but it's ok Mexican grub. The service was ok too, the waitress got me a salad with the wrong dressing and she quickly... More

The food at this place was the worst that we ate the whole trip. The presentation was appauling, looked like slop on a plate. The meat was very dry and tough, so much so that the waitress brought a glass of water over when she could see I was struggling to swallow. This place is not good and as far... More

We had dinner here late on a Friday after a long day of driving. They had a great outdoor seating area with lights, and a live musician playing cheezy covers in the background. The service was very friendly, and we had a great time sitting outside under the stars. The food was fairly bland and forgetable, but it was totally... More

I thought the food was good, but pretty run of the mill Mexican fare. It's not a bad option if you're staying in Three Rivers, but otherwise it was nothing special.

After finding the Sierra Sub shop closed for the day, we were in the area and decided to give Serranos a try. We were very glad that we did. The service was excellent. At first, I was concerned that the food might not be very good because they had a very extensive menu of mexican dishes, but they must have... More

As a "gringo" that lives in Mexico most of the year I love Mexican food. The food was wonderful and the portions are HUGE. Outdoor and indoor seating. The food could have been spicier (I like it hot) so i asked for spicy salsa and was satisfied. The owners are very sweet and attentive and enjoyed practicing spanish with me.... More

Things I liked about it" The salsa and chips are the best I've ever had at a Mexican Restaurant! The meals very very good also. The waitress was great and handled our large group without any issues (we did not have reservations). Inside and outside dining under the trees. We had lunch and dinner there......it was that good.

We were staying at the fabulous Rio Sierra Riverhouse and went to Serrano's for dinner. We ordered the "3 items of your choice" dinner to split and it was MORE than enough for 2! The hostess/waitress was extremely friendly and seemed to be able to take people's orders without writing anything down. It was a great place with delicious food... More

My wife and I had dinner in mid July. It was like eating in Mexico. The food was very good. If we had the time we would have gone back for another dinner.
