I have become fond of the vintage tiki bars around the use. I'd been here over 20 years ago, before I truly appreciated it's vintage charms…….but this time I was ready to love it! Huge place with just enough decor to give one that feeling of being in a special place. The drinks we had in the bar were OK,... More

The title says it all, very hard chunks of cabbage. Not pleasant service either. Warm soup, not hot. Choose something else, McDonald's would have been better.

While the service is a bit brusque, it's FAST. There's a huge menu with everything from Chinese/Polynesian to Thai to sushi. The setting is wonderfully over-the-top tiki, complete with a fountain, huge murals and an entire ship's deck. This place is a classic, and the food and drinks are always pretty good.

Must try the Saugus Wings! The General Gau's Chicken and crab rangoons are great too! The fried ice cream wasn't ok, but I probably shouldn't have had dessert after everything else anyway.

I have been a Kowloon's customer for 30 years but I am done with them. They are living on their reputation, they have turned into a factory serving mediocre food. The last three items I have gotten at Kowloon's have been horrid: 1. Moo Shi Pork, dry and tasted so bad it was uneatable. 2. House Special Fried Rice, burnt... More

If you look at the exterior of Kowloon, you should know what you are getting into: an old style Polynesian/Chinese restaurant, circa 1960. If you are searching for more modern, sophisticated or authentic Chinese food, this is not where you go. However, it does the "classics" just fine. I haven't seen "lobster sauce" on a menu in 20 years, but... More

When your food comes out in under 3 minutes, you need to wonder. Dry and crumbly side of white rice, uncovered in an ugly dish. I know this wasn't steamed less than 6 hours ago. Reheat and serve, I would't be surprised if it was recycled from the last diner who didn't want it. The other food we ordered was... More

This is a huge place, crowded on a Saturday night, food was mediocre, there wasn't even soy sauce on the table, no tea, no hot mustard with the egg rolls. The Vegetable Lo Mein was all noodles with a few vegetables thrown in, an order of stir fried vegetables had big pieces of vegetable very unappetizing and undercooked.
