We were staying at the Red Roof Inn Saugus, which is literally just across the parking lot. I'd googled places to eat near the Red Roof Inn, and found Angela's, due to the favourable reviews here on Tripadvisor we decided to try it out. We were not disappointed. 3 adults, and we shared a large portion of wings and a... More

We actually visited the Angela's in Tyngsboro, MA., rather than Saugus but trust that the food is identical in quality. This was a special family celebration for a high school graduation so we came early to beat the crowd. Our granddaughter ordered a plate of WINGS for the first group to snack on while waiting for the rest of our... More

We ended up eating dinner here twice - loved the thin crust pizza! If you are a meat eater, get the Ultimo - delicious - and the salad is great too.

For pizza in MA, I prefer Upper Crust and Angela's. Angela's shrimp aglio oglio pizza combines so many flavors (tomato, hot pepper, basil, etc) and is topped with very good shaved parmesan cheese. The crust is excellent. This is the best shrimp pizza I have had. The wings have the right flavoring (rosemary, lemon, salt) and are smothered in carmelized... More

Ordered takeout, a Lady Grace, was great! We ended up getting distracted on the way back to the hotel with it so we ate it cold and it was even great cold. Contemplated ordering it again the next day but wanted to try something else since just visiting the area. What we ended up with was not as good, should... More

Coal fired pizza is very tasty. Great selection and surprisingly nice atmosphere. Friendly and attentive staff and homey feel. Great wings, very zesty. Have had takeout many times on way home and never been disappointed.

I have been wanting to try this place for a while as I Love chicken wings so convinced my husband to go today. We sat at the bar and had some sangria which was good but a little sweet for me. Ordered wings and a pizza.......hate to say it but the wings were a little disappointing. Nice taste but not... More

Best coal fired chicken wings I ever had in my life. They are marinated in rosemary, lemon, olive oil and remained juicy. They are served on flat bread. I love their pizza too. Pizza has no oily feeling, so I don't feel guilty eating here at all. I always ask for fresh 'basil', which enhances your pizza flavor and it's... More

Famous for the coal fired wings and pizza so we ordered both! Wings were seasoned well and very tender. We ordered pizza with roasted peppers and sausage and that was a huge hit!!! Menu is a bit pricey but pleased we tried it out!

It had been a few years since we'd been to Angela's and stopped in on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. The place itself is looking a little tired -- the scratched up Naugahyde in the booths, the prints slipping down in their frames. A make-over is probably in order. Unfortunately there's nothing they can do about the view out onto... More
