We have not been here in awhile but we always start off with a Margarita, and Seafood Stuffed Mushrooms with mornay sauce, and the Shrimp Cocktail with cocktail sauce and a warm loaf of bread. For Dinner my friend had the 16oz Kansas City Prime Rib, loaded baked potato, and a side salad, I ordered the Surf & Turf Lobster... More

Family friendly, unpretentious steak house locate on Rte 1 Saugus where the old Augustines used to be. Portions are generous and salads and side choices included with many entrees. I had a wedge salad with steak tips and it was very good. The other guests ordered some great looking entrees which were also satisfying. The house Bloody Maria made with... More

Nice range of choices plus good specials on the daily menu. Known for beef - but the fish was delicious. Salmon well seasoned, moist and just the right portion. Warm bread, decent salad. Lemon drop martini was good. Service was good. Pleasant & attentive. Reasonable prices but not for everyday drop in. Will go back for special occasion.

The experience is either very good or just ok.The steak is tender on one visit and tough the next (same cut). The fried zucchini is ok but they ate pricey and have small portions. Some of the wait staff are just wonderful♡

this restaurant has excellent beef and seafood. Their combo's are delicious and they can be customized at your choice. The only negative was a small thing but surprising. When we ordered Bleu cheese dressing for our salad, we were told it was .35 cents extra. Not an exorbitant charge but surprising. We've never been charged for this kind of dressing... More

My husband and I had our first date at Jimmy's Steer House. We return every year. The atmosphere is quiet and the service is great. The food is really delicious ! It is a little more money but worth it, after all this isn't a fast food joint! This is a lovely restaurant !

This was located nearby our hotel and recommended by the front desk staff. You know a place is good when the parking lot is full & the restaurant is full of locals. We only waited about 10 minutes for a table on a very busy Friday night. We split and app, the entree was crab meat pie and New York... More

Stopped by on a Sunday late afternoon for our Anniversary dinner; not very busy so were immediately seated in at a table in the lounge area per our request. Ordered wine & an appetizer which arrived in good time but not rushed. Dinner of Steak Teriyaki for me & my husband's Ribeye was excellent as well as baked potato &... More

My husband and I stopped at "Jimmy's Steer House" on our way north out of Boston. It was late afternoon and the dining room and lounge were busy. The atmosphere is modern, a bit dark, but very clean and orderly. The service was excellent, out beef tips delicious, and the price was very reasonable. We will certainly return.

This restaurant is owned by the same folks that owned the recently closed Grassfields in Danvers and the menu, food and value is similar which is great! Steak and lobster pie for $19 with delicious generous portions of both can't be beat. Rice pilaf and chicken teriaki also a hit. One of the best bets on Rt1.
