From the 1930s into the 70s Du-Par's was the place to stop between Santa Barbara and L.A. Unfortunately they seem to have taken their reputation and customers for granted. We tried to have breakfast there on a Saturday and sat there for 45 minutes after placing our order and never got any food. It seemed that some locals would come... more

This is one of the remaining diners from a chain of restaurants that has been in Southern California for a long time. They are noted for their pancakes and serve melted butter with them.
