Do not understand what everyone is raving about. Other than our phenomenal waitress Sara, the brussel spouts, and the complimentary b'day cake, there is nothing positive to talk about.. Hubby's bone in ribeye, my fish special, lobster mashed potatoes, sweet potatoe fries, warm spinach salad, and iceberg wedge were all very bland. And the steak was tough. The breads were... More

We were at a group meeting for a few days staying at the Westlake Village Four Seasons. We decided to get out for an evening. We were able to get a reservation for 25 with just a couple days notice. What a great steak. But first we had seafood towers for our table. All served cold and in a grand... More

Mastros consistently 'wows' me with the steak, salads and their 'to die for' butter cake'. Their food, service and ambience makes Mastros the very best. I have also done two group dinners and dealing with the manager, John Gress, is an absolute pleasure.

A dear and caring friend took me to Mastro's for my birthday dinner. It was my first visit to this outstanding restaurant. I ordered my favorite dish: rack of lamb. I have never had it better. We were a party of four and one of us brought the wine, which the waiter served. Everyone's selection was the top in its... More

My hubby and I went for our wedding anniversary. We got there at 5:30. The place was practically empty but people trickled in slowly. The wait staff is great. We shared a wedge salad and steak with crab legs. The steak was not up to par. We ordered the Japanese steak, don't remember the exact name, but it should have... More

Not only was the food out of this world, the service is to be commended as well. We were attending a private Wedding Rehearsal dinner here last week and were totally amazed at the experience. It was so well orchestrated! Cesar Salads, Filet, Sea Bass, Salmon was probably the best our group ever tasted. Then the desserts arrived and we... More

I've eaten at many of the countries best steak houses, and had the best steak here. The lobster mash potatoes are ridiculously decadent. Along with the superb food, comes first rate service as well.

The food, service, and ambience were wonderful, except for very loud music from the bar area. Unfortunately, we found the expense did not make for a special meal. Even with a $200 gift card, the cost was double. I would recommend this restaurant only to those aware of the prices. It's a shame. Food good, but never again.

The portions are huge, the drinks are pricey, and service is excellent. Including cocktails, two glasses of wine, Cesar Salad, Lobster Mashed Potatoes, Rack of Lamb, Petite Filet, and a double expresso. The check with tip came to $277. This is far more than I have ever paid at Mortons or Ruth Chris, but it is also one of the... More
