Had a celebration dinner here. The place is super busy so is very noisy. That aside, the food was very good, as good as any place i have eaten in the world. However, the price is over the top. While superlative food demands a premium price, some of the prices are just outlandish. Since there are no other top steak... More

We (8) went for my granddaughters birthday tonight. We were seated at a large round table in our own private area. We could also close the curtains to make it more intimate. The shrimp appetizers and pretzel bread were to die for. That could have been dinner. We all had a variety of steaks cooked to perfection. The side dishes... More

Had an amazing meal. This place just gets it right about 95% of the time. Everything was cooked perfect and finished off by the most amazing dessert the yellow cake. Incredible.

Classy, beautiful atmosphere. Excellent entertainment in the bar. Service overall is very good, better if you are a regular and they get to know you. There is room for improvement in service at times. We've learned when we take food home to ask them to package it at our table. They get busy and often give the wrong bags back....or... More

This place is such a conundrum. In Thousand Oaks, it is clearly the "fancy night out" option, but when we arrived it was all just SO cheesy. There is a constant crowd of heavily perfumed smokers right outside the front door, everyone is dressed like they are going to prom, there are TV's all over the bar (which I actually... More

Do not understand what everyone is raving about. Other than our phenomenal waitress Sara, the brussel spouts, and the complimentary b'day cake, there is nothing positive to talk about.. Hubby's bone in ribeye, my fish special, lobster mashed potatoes, sweet potatoe fries, warm spinach salad, and iceberg wedge were all very bland. And the steak was tough. The breads were... More

We were at a group meeting for a few days staying at the Westlake Village Four Seasons. We decided to get out for an evening. We were able to get a reservation for 25 with just a couple days notice. What a great steak. But first we had seafood towers for our table. All served cold and in a grand... More

Mastros consistently 'wows' me with the steak, salads and their 'to die for' butter cake'. Their food, service and ambience makes Mastros the very best. I have also done two group dinners and dealing with the manager, John Gress, is an absolute pleasure.

A dear and caring friend took me to Mastro's for my birthday dinner. It was my first visit to this outstanding restaurant. I ordered my favorite dish: rack of lamb. I have never had it better. We were a party of four and one of us brought the wine, which the waiter served. Everyone's selection was the top in its... More
