Good Food, Nice People, Needs Refurbishing

Predictable Tex Mex chain fare, but tasty and well prepared. The wait staff is both engaging and efficient. But this property definitely needs renovation. The tables are worn, stained, and sometimes even sticky. We go there for an easy mid week dinner of chili rellenos and enchiladas rancheras... read more

With many choices of Mexican Restaurants choices in Thousand Oaks and not so good reviews at almost all I decided to try Cisco's. We were very much impressed with the dinner combo of Taco, cheese enchiladas and Chile relleno. The service was a bit slow at the beginning. It took the waiter ten minutes after we were seated to great... More

A little complicated for out of towners to wind through the shopping center and parking lots, but once we got there we were delighted with the food, the setting, and the service. Great shrimp tacos and a shrimp salad in a taco bowl. Good margaritas.

I am writing this review while I am sitting very frustrated in this uber busy understaffed (so called) Mexican joint. We are a group of 25 people. I guess we should have read reviews. Because what I am going to write is definitely a pattern. Well, all I can say they are understaffed, overworked and overwhelmed! We all arrived at... More

Food is always excellent but I do find the inside can be rather dark and looks a little worn but most of the time the weather is nice enough to sit on their large outdoor patio, which is great, except for the fact that smoking is allowed there, or was the last time we visited.

I know Ciscos has been a staple for a long time, and the bar/patio is a great place for happy hour and some drinks. The food is not good. I love Mexican food, and am so disappointed everyone I eat here. Everything is really greasy and nothing is authentic. Come here for a fun happy hour, but not a good... More

Cisco's delivers a great atmosphere, tasty and savory Mexican food and good chips and salsa. Whether you have a family get-together, are a two-some, or planning a celebration for graduation or a birthday...this is a great affordable place. Wish there was a Cisco's closer to home. I'd be frequenting it often.

Liz the bartender surprised us with her knowledge in beverages, her fine attention to details and unforgettable memory...! The next time we walked in she remembered us and what we've ordered. Nevertheless she made certain the order was done well and the changes we've asked for where done properly. The food was delicious, area was clean and the stuff were... More
