Great food and margarita's but at the end of the day it's mexican and should be reasonably priced. The decor is nice but the bill was a stinger!

I looked for a more authentic Mexican place and saw the good reviews on TripAdvisor. However I am not sure that was very impressed. It was not your normal Mexican nor was it authentic (I used to live in Mexico). If anything is was Mexican served in a more exotic way. The food was good but not that I would... More

what a pleasant surprise- we were expecting simple mexican and when the salsa wasn't red I was a bit apprehensive. DELISH- the entire meal was fabulous. We sat outside on the patio and watched kids in the park and ice skating rink. I had the fish tacos which were completely perfect. Only disappointment was the house margarita- while it was... More

We only go out for dinner for meals that might take way too long to prepare (challenging) or the ingredients are unique and hard to find fresh, like sushi. We have always made Mexican food at home because every Mexican restaurant has the same old stuff, no zip, no zing...meh. But not Sabor! Wow! I don't know how many times... More

I love this place! This isn't your typical Mexican food. The chef arranges her delicious food like an artist on the plate! Everything is great! It's a more upscale mexican food.

Truly uncommon. The menu doesn't resemble a conventional Mexican restaurant in North America, and this makes it all the more interesting. I've taken both Spaniards and native Mexican citizens here and they leave roundly pitched with a smile on their faces. Weeks later each has e-mailed me asking, "what was the name of that place again? I want to send... More

This is the only place I have ever been to that serves tacos with the shell made from jicama--and they are fantastic. The jicama is sliced paper thin so it bends like a taco and is filled with chicken and mango sauce. They are the best!!! They also have jicama chips and the best guacamole ever. I cannot account for... More

Just been here again and want to say how nice it was. We started off in the bar, met some friends later. We had a great little table in a semi-circle booth, very sociable. I love everything here, the decor, the food, the staff. The staff here are very attentive and always look smart and well presented. The noise level... More

I am a local and have lived in the Conejo Valley for more than 20 years. Sabor is by far my favorite restaurant in town. I have had dozens of meals here and have never been disappointed. The ambiance is fantastic, food is perfect and service is some of the best I have experienced. The wait staff is passionate about... More
