Yes, another fabulous lunch at a wonderful restaurant in the heart of Thousand Oaks. When we want a quiet, romantic spot to share a great lunch we go to Sabor Cocina. The service is always first class and the food is prepared artistically and tasty. Try the Tacos Hongos while you sit at the outdoor patio.

Stopped by here the other night as I heard great things about this place. I ordered the chili relleno as a way to see how good this place is. The chips and salsa were a great appetizer while I waited. The chilli plate was blazing hot when it arrived but what a great way to present this dish... It was... More

My husband and I went with our two young sons. We had a very good dinner of authentic Mexican food. The restaurant has a look of Mexico City. But what's exceptional are their Margaritas. I had the Hibiscus with Strawberry and Silver Patron. It was $15 but the huge size made it worthwhile. My husband's Cochitita Pinal was great. This... More

This is Mexican food with a difference, forget what you know from Del Taco this is refined Mexican food at its best. Definitely one of the best places i ate during my stay in Thousand Oaks. The setting is very nice with lots of interesting objects. Highly recommended, especially considering the standard of the other restaurants nearby.

Love the atmosphere and the servers are excellent. They make a great margarita and the guacamole is perfect! Homemade chips and salsa are the best I've ever had. As for the entrees, they are not large but for me, that is perfect. I have tried many items and enjoy every one. Nothing is greasy. Food is prepared "healthy" and the... More

Wonderful appetizers, especially the buffaloe taquitos. The homemade corn tortillas are a must and the turkey chile relleno is baked, not fried and delicious.

Great food and margarita's but at the end of the day it's mexican and should be reasonably priced. The decor is nice but the bill was a stinger!

I looked for a more authentic Mexican place and saw the good reviews on TripAdvisor. However I am not sure that was very impressed. It was not your normal Mexican nor was it authentic (I used to live in Mexico). If anything is was Mexican served in a more exotic way. The food was good but not that I would... More
